I love gnomes, and when I saw a version of this darling "candy corn" gnome I just knew I had to try it! I LOVE how it turned out!
Measurements: :
- Pumpkin Pie: 1/2 sheet, 3 3/4" x 5", 2 1/2" square (pumpkin), scraps
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", 3 1/4" x 4 3/4", scraps
- Crushed Curry: scraps
To Make This Card:
- Attach larger, White piece to folded Pumpkin Pie card.
- Cut Pumpkin Pie layer with Deckled Rectangle Die. Also cut medium White piece with smaller Deckled Rectangle Die. Layer together, and attach to card
- Stamp "pumpkin" from Hello Harvest in Pumpkin Pie ink onto PUmpkin Pie cardstock. Cut out with corresponding die.
- Die cut "beard" and one hat from White cardstock.
- Die cut "nose", "feet", and "hat" from Pumpkin Pie cardstock.
- Die cut "hat" from Crushed Curry cardstock.
- Attach Crushed Curry "hat" to the "beard" where shown on die cut. Add "nose" and "feet".
- Using the Crushed Curry "base" lay the Pumpkin Pie "hat" on top and determine where to trim this piece so it is about 1/8" above the nose. Cut with snips and attach to "hat".
- Repeat with the white piece, leaving around 3/8" of the Pumpkin strip showing. Note: there are other ways to do attempt this, I felt that this was the easiest.
- Arrange "pumpkin" and assembled "gnome" onto card, as desired. I attached the "pumpkin" flat, and the "gnome" popped up with Dimensionals.
- Finish with Iridescent Pearls colored with dk Pumpkin Pie Blend, and a bow from colored (with Pumpkin Pie Blend) Crinkled White Seam Binding.
