I just love images of horse drawn sleighs. Some day I hope to be able to experience one! This one is also from the Christmas Barn bundle! It IS more of a Christmas theme! This design uses our new Deckled Rectangles to create the "frame". And then create your scene for inside!
Measurements:
- Basic White: 1/2 sheet, scraps
- Thick White: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" (frame), scraps
- Pool Party: 4" x 5 1/4"
To Make This Card:
- Begin by cutting Deckled "frame" from front of White piece. Set aside.
- If you would like to emboss "snowflakes" behind the frame as I have done, cut the next larger Deckle "frame" from the Pool Party layer. Attach the Pool Party "frame" to the folded White card.
- Next,take the center piece and run this through the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder, and insert back into the Pool Party Deckle 'frame" attached to the folded card. Note: You can just add the Pool Party layer without messing with the cutting and embossing.)
- Next, cut the "snow bank" from Thick White, and attach to wrong side of White "frame", at the bottom.
- Now, add the White "frame" & "snowbank" to the card with Foam Adhesive Strips. Place this so the cut edge in the Pool Party layer is not visible.
- Stamp the "sleigh" onto a scrap of Thick White. Color with Blends as shown, and cut out with corresponding die and attach to card over "snowbank".
- Stamp 2 "trees" onto Basic White. Color as shown and cut out with corresponding die. Attach behind "snowbank" as shown.
- Stamp sentiment in Black onto scrap of Pool Party. Cut out with corresponding die. Add to card with Dimensionals.
- Cut 2 "sets of snowflakes" from Glimmer paper, and scatter onto card.
- Finish with a little Wink of Stella.
