I saw this card, and knew I had to try it! Such a unique "fold" using the Hello Harvest pumpkin, but many other images could be used, too! It also uses the awesome prints from the Brights 6x6 Paper collection. I just love these prints this year!
Measurements: :
- Pumpkin Pie: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
- Brights 6x6 DSP Pack (N): 2" x 5 1/4", scrap
- Mossy Meadow: scraps
- Very Vanilla: 4" x 5 1/4"
To Make This Card:
- Trim away top 1/2 of front (cut off 2 1/8"). Discard this piece.
- Add Very Vanilla piece to the inside.
- Stamp "pumpkin" in Memento Black onto piece of "plaid" DSP. Cut out with corresponding die. Color in "stem" with brown Blend. Set aside.
- Select 2 Circle Dies that correspond to the image you are going to place in the opening.
- Next, temporarily attach 2" DSP strip to front flap (barn gate). Cut out with with the SMALLEST circle die you have chosen!d
- Then remove DSP from the front of the card, and cut this piece, again, using the LARGER circle die, creating a 1/8" edge around opening.
- Now, return the DSP to the "gate front".
- Cut the 3 "vines" from Mossy Meadow, using the 3 dies.
- Close card into place, add pumpkin in a pleasing placement and add vines.
- Stamp sentiment of your choice in Pumpkin Pie.
- Finish with several scattered Brass Butterflies.
