Time to start shifting to Winter/Christmas cards! This card nicely combines 2 stamps/dies that I have previously used, both separately, and both non-holiday! They are the Christmas Barn bundle and the Aspen Tree dies! The background behind the "barn" (which you probably can't see) is our new Vanilla Gimmer Paper.
Measurements: :
- Evening Evergreen: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 1/4 sheet
- Very Vanilla Glimmer Specialty Paper (N): 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
- Very Vanilla: 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), 2 3/4" x 3 3/4", scrap
To Make This Card:
- Attach Glimmer Paper to folded Evening Evergreen card.
- Die cut "aspen trees" from Evening Evergreen piece. Set aside.
- Stamp "barn" onto Very Vanilla piece in Memento Black ink.
- Color, simply, with Blends. Then, cut out with corresponding die.
- Also, stamp "tree" and "wreath". Add a little color with Blends and cut out with corresponding dies.
- Attach "wreath" to barn over top "doors".
- Arrange onto front of card over glimmer paper. Use the cut "trees" to determine placement. Lightly mark with pencil.
- Add a little Wink of Stella to "snow" underneath the "barn".
- Adhere "barn" and "tree" to glimmer paper.
- Adhere Foam Adhesive Strips around outside edge of Aspen Trees. I also curved some into the corners, and cut pieces to fit behind the "trees" so it can't be seen.
- Remove backing and adhere to card, matching cut edges.
- Finish with Brushed Metallic Dots.
