Timid Tiger version of Basket

I saw another neat version of the oval "basket" that I shared earlier. This one was more monochromatic, using the new Timid Tiger InColor!  I also used the new Pressed Flower Embossing Folder for the background on this version. I really like this version, too.

Measurements:

  • Petal Pink: 1/2 sheet
  • Timid Tiger (N): 4" x 5 1/4", scraps
  • Mossy Meadow: scraps
  • Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5" (front layer);1/4 sheet (stamp flowers)
  • Woven Textures DSP (N)(OE): 3 1/2" x 4 3/8"
To Make This Card:
  • Run White layer through new, Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder.
  • Adhere Timid Tiger and this White layer to folded Petal Pink card base.
  • Take the Wide Oval die with the stitching, and die cut out of one of the Woven Textures patterns.  It will cut into 2 pieces.
  • Use "green" glue to add the narrow strip (for the "handle").  Cut the inside oval in half (at approx 2") and add to the inside with Dimensionals, for the "basket",
  • Now to stamp the flowers!  Take the smaller flower "center" and stamp 5 centers on the 1/4 sheet of White, leaving enough space for the flowers to be stamped. (I thought this was a neat way to stamp these!!)
  • Next, stamp 5 Timid Tiger "flowers. Die cut with cooresponding die. Set aside.
  • Next, die cut 3 "larger" flower from Timid Tiger (N) cardstock. Set these aside, too.
  • Lastly, die cut 2 "sprigs" from Mossy Meadow.
  • Now, to arrange all in the "basket". I added Dimensionals to all "flowers". (Mini ones on the die cut flowers.)
  • I, first, took 3 "flowers", and arranged them on the "edge" of the "basket", as shown.
  • Then, I added the remaining 2 flowers above, and kind of tucked behind.
  • Next, I added the solid, die cut flowers.
  • And, then, I added the greenery. I cut the bottom leaf from each "sprig" to tuck into the arrangement, where needed. I added these with Mini Glue Dots.
  • I finished with InColor Flat Pearls.  Secret Sea for the flower centers. and scattered colors around.
