I am always on the lookout for tasteful, quick cards for my Seniors at the Senior Center! This one was shared with me by Carmen Miyoshi, fellow stampin' friend! She used one of "Texas Sharon's" Mystery Stamping cards for her inspiration! I just loved it...and they did, too! This uses the "garden" DSP from the Storybook Moments as well as die cuts from the DSP as well. I took several choices with me for the dies, and they chose their own for their card! Just perfect!
Measurements:
- Basic White: 1/2 sheet, 3 3/4" x 5" (embossed layer); scrap
- Calypso Coral: 4" x 5 1/4", 1 3/4" x 3", 1 3/4" x 3 1/2", 1 1/8" x 2 3/8"
- Storybook Moments DSP: 1 1/2" x 2 3/4", 1 1/2" x 3 1/4", 5/8" x 5 1/2" (inside), die cuts
To Make This Card:
- Run White quarter layer through recently retired, Cane Weave Embossing Folder.
- Attach all layers of cardstock to folded White card base.
- Match DSP pieces to Calypso Coral layers and adhere together. Add to card front, as shown.
- Die cut "label" from Stylish Shapes Dies.
- Stamp sentiment in Pecan pie, and then adhere to remaining Calypso Coral piece.
- Select die cut of your choice and adhere to card front with Dimensionals.
- For the inside, add strip of DSP, and another, small die cut.
- Finish with scattered Brass Butterflies.
