I saw this card in passing on Patty Bennett's website. She made it in Utah with Sara and Shelli while celebrating her 2 million sales. So, I set to figuring it out! I really like how it turned out. We will be doing this card in this month's Fun Fold Card Class!
Measurements:
- Garden Green: FULL sheet
- Basic White: 3 pcs @ 4" x 5 1/4", 1 3/4" x 3"
- Peaceful Prints (ret):2 1/4" x 3 3/4"
To Make this Card:
- Take full sheet of cardstock and fold in half, crease well. Open up and fold in half the other way, crease well. Take scissors and remove the lower left quarter.
- Now refold, as shown.
- Cut "detail" pine bough from the quarter sheet you just removed. Attach to front of card, making sure the center is adhered well. To do this, I used Multipurpose Glue on our Silicone Craft Sheet and applied with a Sponge Dauber.
- Cut out center of front of card with largest die. Toss this piece. Adhere any loose "branches".
- Stamp 3 quarter sheets in 2 opposite corners. I started with "pine boughs" in Garden Green, then the other branch in Pear Pizzazz, and finishing with Real Red "berries".
- Attach these pieces to flaps as shown.
- Cut DSP from same large die you used for the front. Close card and adhere to inside through opening in front of card.
- Stamp message in Real Red onto scrap of White. Cut out with smaller die. Attach this piece over DSP with Dimensionals.
- Open card and stamp sentiment in Real Red. Add whatever you wish to the other flap.
- Finish the front with Gold Leaves, Red Rhinestones, and Red bow.
