Here is a gorgeous Book Binder card that uses the stunning Whimsy & Wonder DSP and the awesome Christmas Tree Dies. But this is no "ordinary" Book Binder card, this one has the "binding" at the top! Cool, huh! We will be doing this card at my monthly Stamp Club meeting this Saturday!
Measurements:
- Soft Succulent: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
- Basic White: 4" square, scrap
- Mint Macaron: 2" strip
- Whimsy & Wonder DSP (N): 4" square (holly), 1" x 4" (stripe)
- Silver Foil: 2" x 5 1/2"
To Make This Card:
- Fold Soft Succulent card base in half. Score at 1 1/4" from fold, front side only. Crease the front back well. Place adhesive under this 1 1/4" and glue front and back together.
- Attach "Stripe "DSP strip to this.
- Attach "Holly" DSP square to the other part of front.
- Cut one "solid" tree from Silver Foil, as well as a small "garland".
- Cut one "peekaboo" tree from Mint Macaron. Add some Wink of Stella, if desired. Attach this, roughly, to silver tree. Mount to left side of card.
- Emboss one "sketchy" tree in silver embossing powder on Mint Macaron cardstock and cut out with corresponding die. Attach next to glued tree with Dimensionals.
- Stamp small tree onto scrap of Mint Macaron in Mint ink, and cut out with corresponding die. Attach "garland" to this small tree. Mount this a little behind embossed tree as shown.
- Stamp "holly" in black onto scrap of White. Color with Blends as shown. Cut out with corresponding die.
- Adhere strip of Mint Macaron ribbon to top piece. Layer iridescent ribbon on top. Then, add cut "holly".
- Attach white square to inside of card. Stamp "holly" where desired, and color like the other "holly".
- Finish with Rhinestones on top of tree.
