Mom & I worked on class samples over the weekend, and had so much fun creating! I wanted to show you how to use this Hybrid Embossing folder/dies. I love these softer, non-traditional colors that could be used all winter (if you change out the sentiment). Stay tuned. I will be doing a video on how to use this unique bundle!
Measurements:
- Mint Macaron: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
- Just Jade: 1/4 sheet
- Basic White: 2 1/4" x 3 1/4", scraps
To Make This Card:
- Fold Mint Macaron half. Run front through new Merriest Frames 3D embossing folder centering image. Note: this WILL extend to the back a bit.
- Emboss the Just Jade piece. This JUST fits, so carefully line it up on the quarter sheet of cardstock.
- Now, run this piece through the Cut & Emboss, again, this time using the detail die. (there is just minimal flattening.)
- Attach this piece to the front of card with Dimentionals.
- Stamp sentiment in Mint Macaron onto White piece. Cut out with included, stitched rectangle. Attach to center of card.
- Stamp the 2 "poinsettias" in Blushing Bride, and one each of the "holly" in Mint Macaron. Cut these out with corresponding dies. Also, cut one flower "center" from White.
- Shape the "poinsettia" petals with Bone Folder and layer on top of each other with Mini Dimensional, Add White "center".
- Add this to card front. Tuck and adhere "leaves".
- Finish with Genial Gems.
