The trees from the Whimsical Tree Bundle are so unique. I felt they deserved a card all to themseves. Mom & I tried several specialty papers, and came up with this combination. The picture doesn't do this card justice. What would you use??
Measurements:
- Basic White: 1/2 sheet, 3 3/4" x 5"
- Red & Green Foil: 4" x 5", 2" x 4" (tree)
- Brushed Metallics: 2" x 4"
- Gold & Rose Gold Metallic: 2 1/4" x 5"
To Make This Card:
- Cut rectangle out of center of Green Foil using Stitched Rectangle Dies or cutting with your trimmer. Then, cut "tree" from this discarded piece!
- Attach the Green Foil "frame" to folded White base.
- Run smaller White piece through Evergreen Forest 3D embossing folder in the Annual Catalog. Attach over Green Foil.
- Cut another "detail tree" from Brushed Gold Metallic, and cut "tall tree" from Gold metallic.
- Center this "taller" tree onto front of card. Add Green Foil tree to one side, and pop up the Gold Brushed tree to the other, with Dimensionals. (This is a little tricky to do. I uses the Mini Dimensionals only on one side.
- Finish with bow in Gold Shimmer Ribbon.
