I saw this simple card using the Christmas Pinecone Dies, and added my own touch! I love the shading that the Beauty of the Earth DSP in the Annual Catalog gives to the pine bough! I also used a touch of Gold Vellum for the base of the pinecone. It really is an exquisite card in person!
Measurements:
- Cherry Cobbler: 1/2 sheet
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4"
- Beauty of the Earth DSP: 1/4 sheet greens, scraps (browns)
- Gold Vellum (N): 1 3/8" x 4"
To Make This Card:
- Stamp desired sentiment in Cherry Cobbler onto Basic White piece.
- Then, run Basic White piece through the new Bark 3D Embossing Folder. Attach this to folded Cherry Cobbler base.
- Cut "detailed" Pine Bough from green DSP. Select a section with 3 pinecones and snip it off. Save the other piece for more projects! Attach this to the card with Multipurpose Glue and sponge dauber.
- Cut 3 "pinecone bases" from Gold Vellum, and 3 "detailed pinecones" from brown DSP. Assemble together, and adhere to card where pinecones are located.
- Finish with scattered Cherry Cobbler Rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestones.
