Cheery Pretty Prennial

I love the combination of this "watercolor" stamp and whimsical die!! Add to it the cheerful colors colors and black background, and you get this awesome card! We will be doing this card in my monthly card class!

Measurements:

Basic Black:1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
True Love DSP (N): 3 1/2" x 4"
Basic White: 2 1/8" strip
Coastal Cabana: scraps
Flirty Flamingo: scraps
Mango Melopdy: scraps

To Make This Card:

Fold Basic Black card base in half. Attach DSP to top. Emboss "happy" in White Embossing Powder in lower Right Corner. Stamp this as far Right and Low as possible!
Stamp 3 "flowers", 1 in each color. Cleaning your stamp well between colors! Cut out with coordinating die. Assemble "detail flower" and center with stamped flower, using Mini Glue Dots. Set these flowers aside.
Stamp 6 "leaves" in Granny Apple Green. These are 2 step stamps. Stamp the base in stamped off Green and the details in full Green.
Stamp sentiment in Memento Black onto 1/2 strip of Coastal Cabana. Punch end with Pick a Banner Punch. Attach to card as shown, utilizing as little space as possible.
Arrange the 3 flowers along the left side of the card. The sample I saw cut off the top flower, I think I would try to fit all 3 FULL flowers onto the card, even if it means overlapping them a bit!
Finish by tucking 2 leaves under each flower, (I trimmed a few) andd adding "flower centers" of your choice. I would recommend Pearls or Black Matt Dots.

Butterfly Corner Tuck Fold

I am always on the look out for "Fun Folds" and spotted this one! It is really neat and fun to do! I did one a long time ago in a shoebox swap, so it was not totally unfamiliar to me. Give it a try!!

Measurements:

Just Jade: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", 2 5/8" x 4"
Butterfly Bijou DSP (N): 2 1/4" x 4", 2 1/8" square (watercolor butterflies), 2 Die Cut Butterflies

To Make This Card:

Fold card base in half. Remove 3" from front of card. Set aside. Attach DSP to front flap.
Add Basic White quarter to inside of card base.
Attach Basic White piece to trimmed Just Jade piece. Trim to fit. (you may want this piece a little narrower.
Cut DSP in half diagonally. You will only need one piece. Save the other piece for another card!! Attach triangle to lower Right corner with strong, narrow adhesive. (I used 1/8" Tear & Tape).
Tuck extra piece under triangle and center onto card. Adhere upper half to card front flap.
Attach Butterflly Die Cuts of your choice to card flap as shown.
Finish with sentiment to fill in the White spaces.

Dancing Birthday Chick

Found this awesome birthday card for our Stamp Club meeting this month! There are tons of fun, easy details, including inking up the fence to better see the details in the dies!

Measurements:

Soft Suede: 1/2 sheet, scrap for fence
So Saffron: 4" x 5 1/4"
Basic White: 1 3/4" x 3 3/4", scraps
Daffodil Delight: scrap
Smokey Slate: scrap
Poppy Parade: scrap

To Make This Card

Run So Saffron piece through Stitched With Whimsey Die, then run it through with Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder.
Fold Soft Suede card in half and attach prepared So Saffron layer.
Firmly press "fence" face down into Soft Suede ink. Place on cardstock and run through cutting machine. Cool, huh! Attach to white layer as shown.
Stamp "dancing chick" in Memento Black onto piece of Basic White. Color with Blends as shown, beginning with Lt So Saffron as the base color. Cut out with corresponding die
Stamp just the "balloon" in Memento Black onto scrap of Basic White. Color with Poppy Parade as shown, again beginning with Lt So Saffron as the base color.
Cut remaining "detail dies" from corresponding cardstock as shown. - Streamers and Bows from Poppy Parade, feed sack from Smokey Slate, and straw from Daffodil Delight.
Attach "feed sack below "fence" with Dimensional. Stamp sentiment in Memento Black above fence. Now, attach this piece directly to card front.
Add "straw" to white piece as shown. Then attach "chick" to card with Dimensionals.
Attach "streamers & bows" to card as shown. Attach "balloon where "streamers" meet with a Dimensional. Finish with a few scattered Artistic Blooms Sequins.

Snail Mail Pull -Tab Flip

I love this Fun Fold, but hadn't done it in a while. So, I created this card for my Snail Mail Fun Fold card class on March 17th! So, cute, and so easy to do! I used a "die cut" from the DSP on the front!

Measurements:

Real Red: 1/2 sheet, 2" x 6" (pull tab), 2 1/2" square, 3" square, scrap
Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5", 2" square
Snail Mail DSP (N): 3 1/2" x 3 3/4", "flirty snail" die cut

To Make This Card:

Attach Basic White piece to folded Real Red card.
Score "pull tab" at 2" and 2 1/2". Crease well with Bone Folder. Punch Tag Punch along "longer" end.
Center Classic Label Punch along long side of DSP, push in all the way. Punch.
Cut 1 Large Stitched Square and 1 Medium Stitched Square from Real Red cardstock.
Cut 1 Medium Stitched Square and 1 Small Stitched Square from Basic White cardstock.
Stamp sentiment in Memento Black onto Small stitched square. Attach to Medium Real Red square.
Crease along first score line. Line up cut edge of "sentiment square" to this score line.
Create design onto Medium White piece, with die cut as shown. Attach to Large Real Red Stitched Square.
Place Seal+ (Tear & Tape) along 1/2" area between score lines. Attach this Larger square to tear tape, lining cut edge to scored line.
Now, insert Pull Tab through the punched slit. Place Seal+ (Tear & Tape) on underside of Sentiment Square. Center Large square in center of card, and attach to Seal+.
Pop up DSP with "pull tab" using Dimensionals. Be sure to keep Dimensionals away from sliding "pull tab". Attach to card front.
Finish by attaching small piece of ribbon to Pull Tab, Red die cut heart to inside, and Resin Hearts to front piece.
