NEW Butterfly Bouquet Slimline

I finally had some time to play with the new (you can get next Tuesday) Butterfly Bouquet Bundle myself. The DSP, Butterfly Bijou, is just gorgeous, with tons of colors that you can design with! Here is a Slimline card using most of the Butterflies in the DSP paper! So, quick, easy, and pretty!

Measurements:

  • Mint Macaron: 7" x 8 1/2"
  • Basic White: 3 1/4" x 8 1/4"
  • Basic Black: scrap
  • Butterfly Bijou DSP (N): 1 6x6 sheet of butterflies

To Make This Card

  • Run Basic White piece through Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder (AC).  You will also have to run the bottom 2 1/4" through again. (Note: You will not be able to line up the pattern to do this).
  • Fold Mint Macaron card in half. Attach Basic White piece.
  • Cut out sheet of butterflies from coordinating DSP. I place the largest Mint Macaron butterfly over the slight crease and attached it to the card with a strip of Foam Adhesive.
  • Then scatter the 4 smaller butterflies.  I just attach these flat by the "body" leaving the "wings" loose.
  • Stamp and Emboss the words from the Many Messages.  Cut out with coordinating die.  Select the sentiment of your choice and add to card.
  • Finish with scattered Rhinestones and adding Wink of Stella to the Butterfly Bodies.
