Here is another card I made using the Blends & Alcohol Marbling Technique. This time I placed the Marblized Vellum piece on Basic White cardstock, and then ran it through the Seashells EF! Inspiration thanks to Susan Levesseur!
ments:
- Bermuda Bay: 1/2 sheet
- Vellum: 1/4 sheet
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", 1 1/2" x 2 3/4" (label), scraps
To Make This Card:
- Take the 2 (or more) Darkest Blends, and randomly color all over the vellum. I place it on my silicone sheet! Now, take a paint brush or Aqua Painter or Water Brush and dab the 91% Alcohol on top of the blends. Allowing the colors to bleed. Set aside to dry, or dry with a heat tool. Note: I find it curls more if allowed to dry naturally.
- Stamp the Sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set, in Bermuda Bay, onto piece of Basic White. Cut out with Die from the new Color & Contour Dies. Set aside.
- Stamp 2 "seashells" of your choice in Bermuda Bay, onto scraps of Basic White. Cut out with Seaside Seashells Die. Note: Just place desired shell under the piece in the die, adhere with Washi tape and cut out.
- Adhere dry Vellum piece to 4" x 5 1/4" White piece. Trim Vellum piece to fit. Now run this layered piece through the Seashells EF, only running it through your machine once, so you don't overly stress/break the Vellum!
- Attach this embossed "marble" piece to folded Bermuda Bay card Add the "label" to the front of card with Dimensionals. Then, adhere "seashells" where desired.
- Finish with scattered colored Rhinestones. I, once again, used the retired Noble Peacock Rhinestones, but you could color Clear Rhinestones in Blends used.
