I saw this suite of Pansy cards using my favorite colors - Bermuda Bay & Fresh Freesia! These are just gorgeous!! This time, I wanted to show how awesome it is to STAMP the Pansies!! Then, add a Fun Fold, a touch of DSP, and a cute bee, and what could be better!!
Measurements:
- Bermuda Bay: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 3 3/8" square, 2 1/4" x 2 1/2"
- Basic White: scraps 4", 3 1/8" square
- Pool Party: 4" square
- Ornate Frames
- Bumblebee Trinkets
To Make This Card:
- Fold Bermuda Bay card base in half. Score at 1 1/4" from fold, front side only. Crease the front back well. Place adhesive under this 1 1/4" and glue front and back together.
- Attach Pattern DSP to 1" area of card.
- Run Pool Party piece through Tasteful Textile EF. Attach to card.
- Layer Pattern DSP square to Bermuda Bay square, and layer over Pool Party piece.
- Stamp off small Pansy in Fresh Freesia onto scraps of White. Stamp edges in Fresh Freesia, full strength. Add "centers" in Gorgeous Grape. Stamp 2 of these. Also stamp "bud" in the same manner.
- Stamp off the "leaves" in Bermuda Bay. You will need 3 - 2 of one shape and 1 of the other. See sample. Stamp "detail" onto leaf, full strength. Stamp "stem" in full strenghth Bermuda bay.
- Cut all out with corresponding dies.
- Cut small ornate frame from Bermuda Bay. Also, cut inside "frame" in White. Adhere together. Attach to center of squares with Dimensionals.
- Arrange die cut pieces onto "frame" as shown. I used Dimensionals on the top Pansy.
- Finish with Bumblebee trinket and Purple Rhinestones (Noble Peacock - or color).
- If desired, tie a ribbon around the 1 1/4" piece using the Sheer Pool Party Ribbon!
