Crossed Gate Fold

I also spotted this card on a video...so no directions, of course. I thought it was pretty unique, but not very easy to figure out, hence I won't be doing this one in a class!! I also used Multipurpose Glue to put this together. Won't be doing that again, at least not on black! Don't like the smudgy residue. So, if you need a fun, classy card - you'll need to contact me!

Measurements:

Basic Black: 5 1/2" x 9", scraps
Basic White: 1/4 sheet, 4" x 5 1/4", scraps
Blushing Bride: scrap

Pocket Card

I saw this card online and decided to try it, adding my own touches, of course! Too much fun, the "shirt" pulls up out of the "pocket/suit jacket"! Really neat! Need to come up with another design! Any suggestions?

Measurements:

Basic Gray: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 3 1/2" x 5" (lapels), scraps
Basic White: 3 1/2" x 10 3/4" (LENGTHWISE), scraps
Blushing Bride: scrap
Well Suited DSP (N): 4" x 5 3/8" (pinstripe), 1" x 4 1/2" (stripe for tie)

To Make This Card:

Fold Basic Gray card base in half. Attach "pinstripe" DSP to one half of card with cut edges even. Do NOT put any adhesive in the center, just around the edges.
Cut "V" from Front of card, with "V" pointing to the card fold. Set center scraps aside for later use.
Use 1/8" Tear & Tape to create pocket from Basic Gray card base. Place tape along long edges.
Cut "lapels", "buttons", and "pocket flap" in Basic Gray. Cut "collar" in Basic White, and cut "tie" & "knot" from DSP stripe. "Ascot" will be cut, later from scraps.
Attach "lapel" to front of card. Either flat, or with Dimensionals. Add 2 "buttons" as shown.
Slip Folded White card into pocket. Attach scrap of Blushing Bride to "triangle" at neck of collar. Attach to card, either flat or with Dimensionals.
Pull up White card, and add "tie" and "knot" - I DO add a Dimensional to the "knot. Tuck card back into "pocket".
If you want the stripes of your pocket to line up with the stripes in the jacket, lay scrap of "pinstripe" to suit coat where the "pocket" will be. Place pocket die into position and mark placement with pencil. Cut out pocket. Adhere to coat front. Add solid gray pocket flap. For "ascot" cut a triangle scrap of coordinating DSP.

Manly Easel Card

Need a card for Father's Day?? This one is really neat! I love all the textures in this masculine card! And, I finally used this neat Handsomely Suited Bundle!!

Measurements:

Evening Evergreen (N): 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 3 7/8" x 5 1/8", 5/8" x 4" easel support, scraps
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), 3 7/8" x 5 1/8", scrap
Pansy Petals DSP (N): scrap for tie, scrap for support

To Make This Card:

Fold Evening Evergreen base in half, and then in half again.
Place trimmed White piece inside card.
Cut "V" neck from larger layer. Cut out "pocket". Run these 2 pieces through Embossing Folder for texture.
Cut "lapels" in Evening Evergreen. Cut "collar" in Basic White, and cut "tie" & "knot" from DSP stripe.
Adhere "collar" to center edges of White piece. Add "tie" and "knot" on a Dimensional.
Then, add "jacket front" over White piece. Add "lapels" and "pocket".
Attach lower half of this piece to front fold of card base.
Stamp sentiment in lower right corner with Evening Evergreen.
Attach narrow DSP piece to Evergreen piece. Attach inside of card with Mini Dimensionals for the "support", above sentiment.
