Celebration Label Poinsettia

I saw this card somewhere and thought that it was a neat use of our new Celebration Label Dies!  The other cool thing is that the Poinsettia Dies can cut out some of the poinsettia's from the Poinsettia Place DSP. I love it when my dies can be used for multiple effects! 

Measurements:  

• Very Vanilla: 4" x 8 1/2", 4 5/8" x 6 3/8", 2 1/8" x 3 3/4"
• Poinsettia Place DSP: 4" x 5 3/8", 3" square (poinsettia)
• GoldFoil: Scraps

To Make this Card:

• Cut largest label from Very Vanilla. Use next size label to cut Poinsettia DSP.  Layer together
• Fold 4" x 8 1/2" piece in half. Attach labels to front of folded card. the bottom should be even with the edge of the "label".
• Stamp message in Soft Suede onto piece of Vanilla.  Cut out with label from Tasteful Labels Dies. Attach to card as shown.
• Cut 3 "sprigs" from Gold Foil and one Poinsettia from DSP.  Attach Poinsettia to card with Dimensional. Tuck "sprigs" underneath, where desired.
• Finish with several scattered Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.

Blue & Silver Card

The picture of this card does not do it justice.  It is absolutely gorgeous!! And, depending on the Foils and Glimmer papers you use, it would be good for many occasions!

Measurements:  

• Thick Whisper White: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
• Feels Like Frost DSP (N): 4 ¼” square
• Silver Foil: 1 3/8” x 4 ¼”, 3 ¾” square
• Balmy Blue Glimmer (N): 3 ¾” square 

To Make this Card:

• Fold Thick White cardstock in half.  Adhere DSP to card, starting at fold. This does not have and "edge" around it. And this time the fold is at the TOP. Trim the front of the card even with the DSP edge.
• Cut "berry" Wreath from the Balmy Blue Glimmer paper and "smooth" Wreath from Silver Foil. (Imagine the numerous GORGEOUS combinations you can come up with!!)
• Layer wreaths onto front of card. Add a bow, and small glimmer flowers from center of Wreath. I added rhinestones to the centers of the small flowers.  You might need to add an extra Mini Glue Dot, as nothing likes to stick to the glimmer paper!
• Finish by running the Sliver Foil strip through the Daity Diamonds Embossing Folder, and adhering to bottom of card.  I LOVE the look of the embossed foil!

Love Wreath

It may not be Valentine's Day, but Love cards can be sent ANY time!!  We made this one in my Arrange a Wreath Class last week!  I love the color combination!

 Measurements:  

• Thick Whisper White: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
• Regular Whisper White: 3 3/4" square, scraps
• Blushing Bride: 4" square, 3 3/4" square (wreath)
• Magenta Madness (N): 3 3/4" square
• 2020-2022 Incolor DSP (N): 1” x 2 ½”

To Make this Card:

• Run the 4" Blushing Bride square through the Greenery Embossing Folder...twice - lining up the pattern. Attach to the folded White card, with the fold on the LEFT.
• Either Trim 1 1/4" from the front of card, or cut front 1/8" away from Blushing Bride edge.
• Cut 1 "berry" Wreath from Magenta Madness and another one from the Whisper White square. Then, cut the "smooth"  Wreath from the smaller, Blushing Bride square..  Build wreath on top of the Blushing Bride layer.  I started with the Magenta, then White, then lastly the Blushing Bride.
• Stamp "hearts" in Magenta Madness onto scrap of white. Cut out with coordinating die.  Attach to Wreath with MIni Stampin' Dimensionals. Add a coordinating bow, if desired.
• Adhere DSP to strip of Foam Adhesive.  Cut out desired word with Playful Alphabet. Attach to card along side opening.
• Finish by scattering Magenta Enamel Dots.

Plaid Fall Wreath

Here is a fall wreath we did at my Arrange a Wreath Class this week.  I love all the textures and colors.  Both DSP's are on sale this month!!

Measurements:  

• Crumb Cake: 1/2 sheet, 2 pcs 3 3/4" square
• In Good Taste DSP(N) 4" x 5 1/4" (burlap)
• Plaid Tidings DSP (N): scraps
• Pumpkin Pie: scraps

To Make this Card:

• Attach DSP to front of card.  Cut 3rd largest circle from front.
• Cut 2 "berry" Wreaths from Crumb Cake.  Adhere around opening.
• Cut 5 plaid "leaves" from DSP. and 7-8 Pumpkin Pie "sprigs". Add to Wreath where desired.
• Carefully stamp message in Early Espresso through opening of Wreath.
• Add Suede Bow. Decorate inside of card, as desired.

Fall "Love" Card

I tried to offer samples from all of the dies in the Arrange a Wreath Bundle for my class last week.  I love the Many Medallions background and fall colors in this card.  These are probably my favorite 2 colors for the Wreath - Shaded Spruce and Just Jade!

Measurements:  

• Crushed Curry: 1/2 sheet, scraps
• Whisper White: 4" x 5 1/4"
• Shaded Spruce: 3 3/4" square
• Just Jade (N): 3 3/4" square
• Pumpkin Pie:1 3/4" x 4 1/4"

To Make this Card:

• Cut "Medallions" from Whisper White piece.  Attach to folded Crushed Curry card.
• Cut 1 "berry" Wreath from Shaded Spruce, and 1-each "smooth" Wreath from Just Jade. Layer together onto card, as shown.
• Cut 4 Medium "flowers" from Crushed Curry and 3 small "flowers", Heart, and 2 pcs of the bow from Pumpkin Pie.
• Place a scrap of Crushed Curry behind "love" in heart, then attach all to wreath.
• Flower centers and knot of bow are made with the Playful Patterns Resin Dots.  The dots on the medium flowers are color with a Dk Pumpkin Pie Blend.
