Rococo Rose Foil Wreath

This card uses a delightful mix of "old" and "new"! The Wreath Builder Dies that many of you already have, and the beautiful new foils and specialtly papers in the new January-June Mini Catalog!!

Measurements:

Sahara Sand: 1/2 sheet
Love You Always Specialty DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4" (Sand), 4" square (Rococo)
Love You Always Foil (N): 4" square (Rococo), scraps (Sand)

To Make This Card

Attach Sahara Sand DSP to folded Sahara Sand card.
Cut "sprig" wreath from Rococo Rose DSP, and "smooth leafy" wreath from Rococo Rose Foil. Attach to card with Multipurpose glue. I had the "sprigs" on top. But either way works!
Cut the cut-out "Love" heart from the center of the Rose Foil Wreath! It does work! You will also need one small "heart".
Cut small "hearts", bow, and 2 "doves" from Sahara Sand Foil. Note: you will need to flip the Foil to cut the reverse "dove". Make sure you have a scratch-free plate underneath, or your "dove" will be scratched!
Attach the "hearts" and "bow" to the wreath with Mini Glue Dots.
Attach a scrap of Sahara Sand Foil behind the "LOVE" in the heart. Then attach foild "heart" in the center of the heart.
Finish with adding the 2 "doves" to the bottom with a Rose Foil heart!

I finally had time to play with products from the new Love You Always Mega Suite! This sample uses the absolutely STUNNING Love You Always Specialty DSP and Foil. They just shimmer and shine! They are a MUST HAVE for your cardmaking this Spring!! I also added some retired Copper Embossing. The photo doesn't do this card justice. It's just beautiful!

Measurements:

Blushing Bride: 1/2 sheet, 2 1/2" square (heart)
Love You Always DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
Blushing Bride Foil (N): 4 1/4" x 4 1/2"

To Make This Card:

Attach Specialty DSP to folded Blushing Bride card.
Cut "detailed heart" from Blushing Bride Foil. Note: the inside heart DOES cut out! Save this for another project!! Attach to card with Multipurpose Glue.
Cut center "heart" from square of Blushing Bride. To do this, you will need to just cut out the heart. You will have a little "ruffle" of the detail that you discard..
Emboss or stamp the sentiment of your choice in the center. There are several to choose from in this set that will fit nicely in the heart. Adhere to center of "detailed heart"
Finish with a bow from our new Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon and a few scattered Champagne Rhinestones.

Hydrangea Haven Joy Fold

This is another neat card with the Hydrangea Haven Bundle. This flower has some noticeable detail, with the addition of extra flowers - which are included in the dies! I started with a strip of cardstock that I colored with purple ink and sponge daubers. Cut out with the strip die. And then shaped with a piercing pad (which are still available as a write in) and stylus. I also used the more detailed die for the stem and leaves! Pair it with the interesting Joy Fold, and you have a really impressive card!

Measurements:

Gorgeous Grape: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 3 1/8" x 8 1/2"
Highland Heather: 4" x 5 1/4", 2 5/8" x 4" (front), 2 7/8" x 4 1/8"
Old Olive: 2 1/4" x 3"
Hydrangea Hill DSP (N): 2 3/8" x 3 7/8"
Whisper White: 3 3/4" x 5", 2 3/4" x 3 7/8", 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" (flower)

To Make this Card:

Fold the Gorgeous Grape base in half. Trim away 2 3/4". Crease well with Bone Folder. Attach Highland Heather and DSP to front flap.
Fold Gorgeous Grape strip in half. Crease well with Bone Folder. Attach Highland Heather piece and Whisper White piece. Attach this card to base card as shown, in a portrait orientation. You will want to use a stronger adhesive, like Seal+ or Tear Tape.
Stamp full flower onto piece of white with Memento Black. Use Sponge Daubers to add Old Olive to the leaves. Color the flower with Hightland Heather & Gorgeous Grape. Cut out with corresponding die. Cut the 3 leaves from the "flower" and toss the stem.
Color a long, narrow scrap of white with both purple inks and sponge daubers. You do not want this overly solid, but some varigated color. Cut out with long strip of flowers. Shape these with a Piercing Mat and Stylus. Set aside.
Cut out the "detailed stem/leaves" from Old Olive cardstock.
Lay the "flower" over the white piece. Tuck the stamped and trimmed leaves underneath. Then, add "detailed leaves over it all in a pleasing manner. Adhere to card.
Take small, shaped flowers and scatter onto "flower". Attach with Mini Glue Dots. Add bitty pearls to the centers - or black ink dots, or whatever you'd like!
Stamp sentiment in Gorgeous Grape. Add Pastel Pearls

Hydrangea Haven Plop n Drop

TODAY IS THE DAY!!! You can NOW order from the new January-June Mini Catalog and select items from the Sale-A-Bration Offerings!

You can make the prettiest cards, so fast, with this bundle!! I decided that this flower needed a little of the Seaside Spray added to the purple-colored flower. And added it to a piece of Whisper White textured with the Tasteful Textile EF. The DSP is gorgeous and can stand alone. And then, there are those GORGEOUS Pastel Pearls!! Oh, my!!

Measurements:

Highland Heather: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
Hydrangea Hill DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
Seaside Spray: 3" x 4 1/4"
Whisper White: 2 3/4" x 4, 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" (flower)

To Make this Card:

Attach DSP to folded Highland Heather card.
Run Whisper White piece through Tasteful Textile EF. Attach to Seaside Spray piece.
Stamp full flower onto piece of white with Memento Black. Use Sponge Daubers to add Old Olive to the leaves, and Hightland Heather & Seaside Spray to the Flower. To blend all these colors, I lightly covered the top with Gorgeous Grape ink.
Cut out with corresponding die, and attach to textured white piece.
Stamp sentiment in Gorgeous Grape. (yes, it does work)
Attach layer to card front with Dimensionals.
Finish with Wink of Stella on flower, and 3 Pastel Pearls!
