Butterfly Brilliance meets Forever Greenery

I hope you love the new Butterfly Bouquet Bundle, because Mom and I were creating fiends over the weekend! Such a versatile set, with so many possibilities. Well worth the investment!! This sample is a stamped butterfly colored in to coordinate with the Forever Greenery DSP. So simple and yet, so elegant, that can be used for so many occasions!

Measurements:

Old Olive: 1/2 sheet, 2" x 3 1/2"
Forever Greenery DSP: 4" x 5 1/4"
Basic White: 2" x 2 1/2" (Butterfly), 1 1/4" x 3" (sentiment)

To Make This Card:

Attach DSP to folded Old Olive card.
Ink up butterflies in Memento ink and stamp onto a half sheet of Basic White. I use my Stamparatus for this in case I need to reink. Cut out with dies. Save other butterflies for other projects! It's good to have them ready!!
Take selected Butterfly and color with Blends as shown. To create a Pear Pizzazz color, I color first in Daffodil Delight, and then colored over it with Old Olive.
Cut detail label from Ornate Frames in Old Olive. Stamp sentiment in Early Espresso, and cut out with smooth label from the Ornate Frames. Adhere together and add to bottom of card with Dimensionals.
Shape "butterfly" with Bone Folder and attach to card with rolled Mini Glue Dots.
Finish with scattered green Rhinestones and Wink of Stella on the "butterfly" wings.

Pieced Triangle Card

I saw, and tried, this card during SAB and never got it quite right. Jeanette Cobb finally posted a video, now I know why.... I was leaving the triangles whole....you add them to a base, and trim off the extra!! Really easy, and very rewarding! I made, and sent, 5 as Sympathy Cards for our church card ministry. Love the look of the Ombre DSP. If you try this, I would recommend a DSP with no "direction"! Too much fun!! Give it a try!

Measurements:

Basic White:1/2 sheet, 2" x 3"
Rococo Rose: 4" x 5 1/4", 3 3/4" x 5", 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"
Oh So Ombre DSP (ret): 2 pcs - 6" x 6"

To Make This Card:

Score 3 3/4" x 5" piece in half at 1 7/8" and 2 1/2". You will use these score lines for placement.
Cut the 2 - 6" x 6" DSP pieces in halves, creating 8 - 3" x 3" squares. This will make 2 cards! Separate into 2 3" squares of each pattern.
Take the 4 that you are using for this card, and cut diagonally.
Now, take one of the first pattern triangles. Attach adhesive to the point end of the DSP. Attach to the smaller base along the score line - 1/16" away, with the point to the center. (see pix for placement).
Now, take one of the other triangles. Repeat with adhesive, and attach to base as shown, with the point at the center as shown. Repeat for the other 3 areas.
Now, flip this piece over, and trim off excess DSP. Trimming next to cardstock base. Toss these pieces!
Attach this decorative piece to the corresponding "quarter" - which will complete the 1/8" border around it all! So clever!!
Then, attach to folded White Card.
Finish by decorating the center, to hide the points, that may not entirely match!
I stamped my desired greeting in the corresponding ink. Then, punched the corners with the Detailed Trio Punch. Mounted it onto a piece of Rococo Rose. Attach to center of card with Dimensionals.
Finish with pearls in the corner and a bow. I colored the Silver Trimmed Ribbon with the Lt Rococo Rose Blend. (it fades beautifully...wait for it!)

Way to Goat Floating Gate Fold

I have had this stamp set FOREVER, and have not gotten around to using it! I think it is just adorable, and can be used for ANYONE - even those elusive "guy cards"!! The design and directions are courtesy of Dawn Griffith. She does such an awesome job! This is a fun fold, and so easy to do!! We will be doing this at this month's card class!! Or, try it yourself!

Measurements:

Smokey Slate:1/2 sheet
Basic Gray: 2 pcs - 2" x 5 1/4", 2 pcs 2 3/4" square, 2 1/2" x 4 1/4", scrap
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", 2 pcs 1" x 5 1/4", 2 pcs 2 1/2" square, 2 1/4" x 4", scraps
Peony Garden DSP: 2 pcs 1 3/4" x 5"

To Make This Card:

Score Smokey Slate base 2 1/8" from each end, creating Gate Fold. Crease well.
Attach Basic White quarter to inside of card.
Attach DSP to Basic Gray strips and then to "gate" pieces.
Stamp "large" goat to White piece. Color with Blends as shown. Cut out with medium Hippo Tag die. Attach to large, Basic Gray Hippo Tag.
Cut 2 Dark Gray Scalloped squares and 2 White smooth squares.
Stamp remaining "goats" on each smooth square. The "dancing" goat just fits. Color as shown, and attach to Scallop Gray squares.
Score white strips at 1", 2" , 4 1/4" crease well with bone folder. You end up with 1" square at one end, and 2-1" squares at the other. Start at the end with just 1, 1" square. Apply Seal+ or Tear n Tape to this piece. Also add to 2 1/4" area. Center one square in the larger area. Open up card. On inside of card, place cut edge of strip against card fold, adhesive side up. Check to make sure "square" does not show above card, but still leaves room for the other square! Close front flap over adhesive!
Now, repeat adhesive for other 1" area at other end of strip. Fold 1" strip to back. Now, open card again, lay square flat, and adhere adhesive of other end to card. Lift up flap, and voila it pops up!
Repeat for the other square.
Lay card open, flat and stamp sentiments of your choice. There are so many cute ones to choose from!
Close card, and attach HALF of larger "goat" to gate front.
Stamp sentiment in black onto scrap of white. Mount onto Basic Grey, and attach to tag under "goat"

Sweet Springtime Bunny

Love, love, love this darling Springtime Joy stamp set!! Great for kids, Easter, baby, or any youthful occasion! I went back to some products in the Annual Catalog! The Flowers for Every Season DSP, and Meadow Moments Mini Embossing Folders (gotta use that Mini Machine, ya know!) I also did this card using the Lamb. Adorable as well!

Measurements:

Misty Moonlight:1/4 sheet
Flowers for Every Season DSP: 2 strips - 1 1/8" x 4"
Basic White: 2 7/8" x 8", 2 1/4" x 3"
Just Jade: 2 5/8" x 4"
Magenta Madness: 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"

To Make This Card:

Attach DSP strips on either side of Misty Moonlight base, leaving 1/8" around all sides.
Fold Basic White strip in half. Crease well. Attach between strips.
Run Just Jade piece through floral Embossing Folder. Attach to front of white card.
Cut Scallop Oval from Magneta Madness.
Stamp "bunny" onto piece of White. Cut with Stitched Oval. Add color with Blends as shown. Attach to Scallop Oval tWhite Oval, then to card front.
Stamp "basket" on inside of card. Color with Blends as shown. Add sentiment inside.
Finish with Magenta Madness bow and tiny pearls as tiny flower centers.
