Caramel Apples..Yum!

Just because there's a "dome" for a set, doesn't mean you have to use it!  I combined a couple ideas to create this card, and I LOVE it!  So perfect for fall...and no "dome"!!

Measurements:   

• Cherry Cobbler : 1/2 sheet
• Cinnamon Cider: 4" x 5 1/4"
• Pattern Party (H): 1 1/2" x 4"
• Basic White: 3 1/4" x 4 3/8"

To Make This Card:

• Run Cinnamon Cider piece through Tasteful Textile EF.  Attach to folded Cherry Cobbler.
• Add DSP piece to bottom.
• Cut largest Stitched So Sweetly scalloped rectangle from Basic White.
• Stamp "dome base" onto this piece lining up bottom so is parallel to the stitching, and the base fits into a scallop!
• Add dome above.  You can use the Stamparatus for this, but since it's Photopolymer, you can easily line it up.
• Stamp one "apple" on each side inside "dome".  Mask those 2 "apples" and stamp the 3rd one in the middle.
• Color the images as shown, with Blends.
• Attach to card with Dimensionals.
• Finish with Black and White gingham bow.

I received this Fresh Freesia congratulatory card from my downline, Susie Wood (on earning the cruise). I made the versions in Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent. I love the monochromatic look, and, of course, the use of my favorite gingham paper from Pansy Petals DSP.

Measurements:   

• Fresh Freesia (N): 1/2 sheet, 2 1/2" square, scrap
  
• Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5", 2 1/4" square
• Pansy Petals DSP (N): 2" x 3 3/4"

To Make This Card:

• Attach White piece to folded Fresh Freesia card.  
• Attach DSP to front 1 1/8" above bottom of White piece.
• Cut Floral Square of your choice from White square. Attach to Fresh Freesia square using silicone sheet, puddle of mulitpurpose glue, and a sponge dauber.
• Cut single "flower" from scrap of Fresh Freesia.  Add Wink of Stella, and add to design over flower.  Attach to card, on point, with Dimensionals.
• Stamp sentiment of your choice in Fresh Freesia ink.
• Finish with know of Freesia Open Weave Ribbon and Rhinestone in the center of the flower.

Triple Cross Over Gate Fold

I was looking for a simple fold for an upcoming class at our local retirement facility.  I also try to utilize some of my retired stash. I saw this particular design using some of our retired SAB DSP and thought I had hit the jackpot.  I LOVE the card, but it is a bit tricky to line up the 3 pieces. So, this is probably a "no"...  but not for my experienced stampers!  So, that's why I am sharing with you today.  I fabulous way to use up that DSP you have laying around!

Measurements:  

• Thick Basic White: 1/2 sheet
• Basic White: 3 pcs @ 1 1/2" x 3 5/8", scrap
• Flower & Field DSP (SAB)(ret): 2 pcs @ 1 7/8" x 5 1/4", 3 pcs @ 1 3/8" x 3 1/2"
• Bermuda Bay: scrap

To Make This Card

• To make "gate fold", score base at 2 1/8" on each side. Crease well.
• Attach longer strips of DSP to each "gate door".
• Attach 3 smaller pieces of DSP to each flap.  
• Attach center "flap" first, attaching left half of "flap to left side.
• Evenly space remaining 2 "flaps".  Attaching the RIGHT side to the RIGHT "gate".
• Finish with sentiment of your choice.

Bloom Where You Are Planted Fun Fold

My downline, Susie Wood, designed this interesting card with an unusual, but simple fold. I had to give it a try! I love how she used some many of the neat elements of this Bundle. Now to design another of my own!

Measurements:  

• Garden Green: 1/4 sheet, 3 3/4" x 4 3/4'
• Basic White: 5 1/4" x 11", 5/8" x 2"
• Bloom Where You Are Planted DSP (N): 2 5/8" x 3 7/8" (brick), asst plants cut from DSP

To Make This Card

• Take Basic White piece and score along 11" edge at 3 1/2" - 7 1/2".  Crease well.
• Mark center of each 5 1/4" edge.  Cut, diagonally, from this mark to the score line on each side of mark, creating a point.
• Attach "base" of this White piece to Garden Green quarter.
• Cut Garden Green Stitched Scallop from Scallop Contour dies. Attach "brick" DSP to the center of this piece.
• Cut paper "lattice" in half, following pattern.  Attach, centered, over "bricks".
• Die cut 2 "plants" using dies for the front.  Also die cut a "planter". Arrange onto card front as shown.  I popped up the "planter".
• Stamp sentiment in Cinnamon Cider onto small strip of White.  Angle end as shown.
• Attach this entire piece onto top "flap" of card.  I placed adhesive on the "point" and then the "top" of the scalloped rectangle. Match point and upper corners of rectangle, and attach.
• For the inside, Fussy cut one plant, and die cut a "planter".  Attach to inside of card, making sure it doesn't show when you fold up bottom flap!
• Finish with inside sentiment stamped in Cinnamon Cider.
