I saw a similar version of this card using the beautiful Peaceful Cabin bundle. My color inspiration came from the Tidings of Christmas DSP in the Annual Catalog. Card making is so much easier when you use our beautiful DSP and select coordinating cardstocks and accessories! Love this card!
Measurements:
- Soft Succulent (N): 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
- Basic White: 2 pcs @ 3 3/4" square, 4" square (inside)
- Evening Evergreen (N): 4" square
- Tidings of Christmas DSP: 1" x 4"
To Make This Card:
- Fold Soft Succulent card base in half. Score at 1 1/4" from fold, front side only. Crease the front back well. Place adhesive under this 1 1/4" and glue front and back together.
- Attach DSP strip to this.
- Attach Evening Evergreen Square to other side.
- Stamp "cabin" in Gray Granite ont one 3 3/4" square. Cut out with corresponding die.
- Decide where you would like to place the trees on the other square, and mark with a pencil.
- Stamp "trees" in Evening Evergreen in designated area.
- Lightly sponge Misty Moonlight, with Blending Brush, for "sky". Add stamped off Misty Moonlight "snowflakes".
- Attach "cabin" over trees. Trim bottom, if necessary.
- Now you can add the "fence" in Gray Granite.
- I added Wink of Stella to "roof", "snow drifts", "trees", etc.
- Add to front of card.
- Take piece of White Glitter Ribbon (N), fold in half, and make an overhand knot. Add to "binding" with Mini Glue Dot.
- Add White piece to inside. Stamp sentiment in Evening Evergreen, and little "fox" in Gray Granite.
Beautiful card. I particularly like the way you sponged the sky and trees.
