Resist Extraordinary Flora

I decided that I needed to take a break from Coneflower samples. I think I have 1 or 2 more, yet, for you, but I'll take a break for the moment! This card DOES use the Irresistible Designs DSP, however, along with the Extraordinary Flora flowers! So quick and simple to do. This is another design from Patty Bennett. She did a lot of these with a circle for her "base" for her flowers, I went with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch for my "base", along with a sentiment from the More Messages Bundle. So many possibilities!!

Measurements:

Pretty in Pink: 1/2 sheet
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", scraps
Irresistible Designs DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4", 1/2" x 4" (inside)
Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape (N)

To Make This Card:

Select the piece of Irresistible Designs DSP you would like to burnish. I used the floral version. And Strawberry Slush ink to the corner with a Blending Brush. Buff off color with a tissue.
Then, adhere to folded Pretty in Pink base.
Punch (or die cut) desired shape from White cardstock. I used the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch.
Adhere to the card base in whatever orientation you would like.
Next, arrange the flowers from one of the "sections" of Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape around the "base". I started with the larger ones, and added them with Dimensionals, and then tucked in and added other pieces, more "flush" as needed.
Once finished, add a sentiment from the More Messages Bundle and a few scattered Pink Gems!

Peaceful Fence

I found this clean & simple card by Rachel Tessman that utilizes products from the Notes & Totes Bundle, along with the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape. She has several different ideas with these 2 items! I love how it turned out!

Measurements:

Basic White: 1/2 sheet, 4" x 5 1/4", 2 1/2" square (sentiment), 3 1/2" x 5" (washi tape), 2" x 4 3/4" (fence)

To Make this Card:

Take White trimmed 1/4 piece and burnish color onto it as follows: Lemon Lolly in the upper right corner (sunshine), Old Olive on the bottom (for grass), and then in between and overlapping color - Balmy Blue (for the sky).
Next, take the 2 1/2" square of White and place it into the 2 3/8" Circle Punch creating a "corner circle" as shown. Stamp sentiment from the Notes & Totes stamp set in Old Olive Ink.
Adhere to upper right hand corner of quarter piece.
Now, die cut fence from White piece. Mount to card front, as shown, with Dimensionals. The first panel is about 1/4" from the bottom and 1/4" from the Left side. Repeat for other 2 pieces.
Place Multipurpose Glue onto dots for upper fence "cross piece", and adhere 1/2 of this strip. Save the bottom piece for the moment.
Now, place one section of Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape onto piece of White. Die cut with coordinating Die.
Select floral pieces to adhere to bottom of fence and attach with Dimensionals.(Note: I did place one "sprig" flush with the card for interest.) Now, you will know where to place the remaining fence "cross piece". Adhere to fence "supports" with Multipurpose Glue.
Trim any pieces hanging off card layer.
Now, you can adhere this to the folded White Card.
Finish outside with scattered Strawberry Slush and Pretty in Pink Gems.
On the inside, select one of the Washi Tape pieces to attach in one of the corner.
Oh, I also added a little Wink of Stella to the Washi Tape flower on the front.
