Golden Bells

I love bells, and I loved these bell dies the minute I saw them! They are just gorgeous! Four sizes to choose from, and 2 have an embossed detail that can either be left in the die cut, or removed.  Just stunning! Pair it with one of the foil papers from a non-holiday collection, and you have a lot of versatility!!

Measurements:

  • Very Vanilla: 1/2 sheet
  • Ornate Garden DSP: 3 1/2" x 5"
  • Brushed Metallic (N): 2 1/2" strip
  • Just Jade (N): scraps
  • Shaded Spruce: scraps
To Make This Card:

  • Tie a knot arround top of folded Vanilla Card.
  • Cut Ornate "Frame" from the Ornate Garden DSP. Attach to Vanilla card below ribbon.
  • Cut out one each of the 4 bells from the Brushed Metallic brushed gold cardstock.  Note: I ran the 2 largest bells through twice, so the detail could be easily removed.
  •  Attach to card as shown.
  • Cut "sprigs" from 2 shades of green cardstock.  Attach to card as shown.  The "sprigs" on the smaller bell, are just half "sprigs".
  • Finish with scattered Shaded Spruce Rhinestones

Red Bells Slimline Card

This simple, but elegant card uses the Bells from the Sounds of the Season dies. I have to confess, that I only purchases the dies from this bundle. This is a true, but gorgeous "plop and drop"! LOL

Measurements:

  • Whisper White: 7" x 8 1/2" , 3" x 8"
  • Real Red: 3 1/4" x 8 1/4"
To Make this Card:
  • Emboss the Whisper White layer with the Wrapped in Texture embossing folder. Note: You will need to emboss this 2x to do the entire front, but it lines up really nicely.
  • Attach all layers together.
  • Cut the 2 larger "bells" from Red Foil.  Only pass them through your die cutting machine once, so the little "holly's" stay in the die cut. Note: This is too cool. Two of the dies have some really neat detail on them!  If you pass them through once, it stay "embossed", if you pass them through twice, you can poke them out!!
  • Arrange them on the front of your card. Add a red bow.
  • Stamp the sentiment in Real Red ink.  This will stamp over the embossing if you're careful, otherwise stamp it before you emboss it.
  • Finish with a couple Red Rhinestones.
