Wintery Irresistible Blooms Window

I thought that this sample was an interesting design using the dies from the lrresistible Blooms Bundle in the Online Store. It uses the scenic A-Frame from the One Horse Open Sleigh DSP in the "window" of the die circle.  The "trees" are "fussy cut" from the DSP and placed on the top layer with the die cut opening.  Add a sponged color and a few scattered snowflakes and you're done!

Measurements:  

• Pool Party: 1/2 sheet
• Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4"
• One Horse Open Sleigh DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4 (A-Frame)

To Make This Card:

• Die cut Irresistible "circle" die from the front of the White Layer.
• Burnish Pool Party ink with Blending Brush onto outside edges of this layer. (You may decide to add more later one the trees are adhered.)
• Fussy cut around trees from the right side of the DSP.  Set aside.
• Center the focal point of the DSP behind the circle opening and adhere to the wrong side of the White piece.
• Next, attach the "fussy cut" trees to the right side of the White layer, trimming to fit around outside edges as necessary.
• Add additional Pool Party sponged color, if desired, at this time.
• Now, attach this piece to the folded Pool Party card.
• Finish with a few Snowflakes on the dots, followed by scattered Irridescent Dots.

Countryside Corners meets Irresistible Blooms

 I did play yesterday!! I saw a version of this card..and colors..and knew I wanted to try it!  It combines the new Countryside Corners with the Online Exclusive Irresistible Blooms! The Countryside Corners Bundle has so many possibilities!! Don't miss it in the new catalog!

Measurements:  

• Basic White: 1/2 sheet, 3 1/2" x 5"
• Fresh Freesia: 4" x 5 1/4"
• BoHo Blue (N): 3 1/2" x 5", scraps
• Bubble Bath (N): scrap
• Pool Party: scraps

To Make This Card:

• Emboss the Fresh Freesia layer with the "cross hatch" embossing folder from the Online Exclusive Basic 3D Embossing Folders.
• Attach to folded White card base.
• Stamp and emboss Countryside Corners stamp onto BoHo Blue piece in White Embossing Powder.  I used my retired Stamparatus to do this!
• Use the largest and 3rd largest dies to cut out "frame". Note: I would recommend taping the 2 "frames" down, so they stay in place!
• Lastly, die cut the White layer using the 2nd largest Countryside Corners die.  Attach the BoHo Blue frame onto this piece and attach to card front.
• Next, Stamp largest Bloom onto Bubble Bath scrap. Emboss with White embossing powder, and die cut with corresponding die.
• Then, stamp, emboss, and cut 2 smaller flowers from BoHo Blue, and 5 3-leaf leaves from Pool Party.
• If desired, add some depth and dimensional to the die cut images with corresponding Blends.  I LOVE the look!
• Attach largest flower to center of "frames" with Dimensionals.
• Tuck the 2 blue flowers underneath on either side.
• Lastly, tuck the "leaves" under the blue flowers.  I tried to hide the more solid white leaves (or you can cut them off).
• Finish with a Pool Party bow and a couple, scattered Pastel Sequins

Irresistible Blooms Elegant Angled Gatefold

I have wanted to try this fold for a while now, and I saw this gorgeous version from Tami White that uses the Online Exclusive Naturally Gilded DSP with an embossed Irresistible Bloom. This would make an awesome gift using all 3 foils!! Absolutely stunning, and can be used for so many occasions. My thanks to Tami for the diagrams!

Measurements:  

• Basic Black: 5 1/2" x 11", 2 1/2" square
• Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (inside)
• Naturally Gilded DSP (N): 3 1/8" x 5 1/4"
• Copper Foil: 3 1/8" x 5 1/4", scraps
• Shimmery White: 2 1/2" square

To Make This Card:

• Score Black base at 3 3/8" from each end.
• Next, mark down 1 3/4" from the top edge on either end of the card base.
• Mark in 1" along the bottom edge.
• Next, cut from the 1 3/4" mark to the score line on each side of base.
• Now, cut from the bottom 1" mark up to the 1 3/4" mark. Crease both score lines well.
• Mark and cut front panels (DSP & Foil) at the same marks.
• Adhere layers to corresponding front panels.
• Run White, inside piece through "Crosshatch" Basics 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere to inside of card base.
• Emboss largest blossom in Copper Embossing Powder onto Shimmery White piece.  Die cut with corresponding die.
• Die cut 3 small "leaves" from Copper Foil.  Attach to blossom where desired, then - 
• Attach to Black circle cut from Stylish Shapes Dies.
• Add circle to front flap of card.
• Top help keep card closed, attach a small, clear Velcro dot.

Embossed Hello Irresistible DSP

I saw a version of this card using the "beaded border" die from the Irresistible Blooms dies and embossed DSP using one of the new Basic 3D Embossing Folders. I just love the soft colors of this card.  These flowers are stamped, rather than die cut from the DSP.  I also used the other option for the leaves.  I still used the Very Best Trio Punch for the tag, as well as the Loose Frosted Dots - which, unfortunately, are on back order.

Measurements:  

• Soft Sea Foam: 1/2 sheet, 1 1/2" x 5 1/2" (border),1 3/4" x 2 1/4" (tag)
• Basic White: 1 1/2" x 2 1/4", scraps (stamped flowers, die cut leaves)
• Hello IrresistIble DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4" (Soft Sea Foam Splatter)
• Adhesive Sheet: 1 1/2" x 5 1/2" (opt)

To Make This Card:

• Run DSP through an embossing folder. I used the "cross-hatch" one from the new, Basic 3D Embossing Folder trio.
• Adhere this piece to folded Soft Sea Foam card.
• Die cut "beaded border" from Irresistible Blooms Dies from strip of Soft Seafoam.  If desired, attach and piece of adhesive sheet first, to aid in adhering to card.
• Attach this piece to card front.
• Stamp 2 larger flowers in Petal Pink ink onto scrap of White. Set aside for now.
• Die cut 3 "detailed leaves" from Irresistible Blooms dies.  Arrange these leaves, along with the flowers onto the front of card.
• Stamp sentiment in Soft Seafoam onto "tag" piece. Punch 4 corners.
• Mount onto Soft Seafoam layer that also has all 4 corners punched.  Attach this "tag" to front of card with Dimensionals.
• Finish with scattered Loose Frosted Gems, or any jewel/gem that you might have.
• Adhere the White and Pastel Grid DSP piece to folded Lost Lagoon card.
• Attach adhesive sheet to White square. Die cut "beaded circle". Cut "beads" away from outside edge leaving loose circle.
• Peel off backing from adhesive sheet and adhere, carefully, to card front.
• Die cut 2 large and 2 small flowers from yellowish sheet of flowers. Also cut 2 3-leaf and 1 2-leaf from sheet of leaves. Set aside for the moment.
• Stamp sentiment in Petal Pink onto Label piece.  Punch all 4 corners with the Very Best Trio Punch.
• Now, arrange flowers, leaves, and lable onto card over beaded circle.
• Finish by attaching Loose Frosted Dots to card, as shown.
