Shimmery Angels Wings

This is my take on using the Dove "wings" as "angel wings"!!  I love using my stamps and dies in alternate ways, and the Dove "wings" DO make awesome "angel wings"!! Go to your local craft store and find some fluffy feathers to use on your card! The sentiment is stamped in coordinating ink and embossed.  If you work quickly, with a moist pad, this does work to emboss.  I started stamping before VersaMark ink and pigment inks, and this is what we had to do!  You can also stamp in your VersaMark ink and then a colored Dye Based ink, and emboss that!

Measurements:

  • Whisper White: ½ sheet, 4” x 5 ¼”, 2” strip
To Make This Card:
  •  Run Whisper White quarter through Embossing Folder.  Attach to folded Whisper White card.
  • Stamp and emboss words (see notes above).  Work quickly as Dye-Based ink dries fast!  Fussy cut around words.
  •  Cut 2 “detailed” wings from Whisper White. Color with Wink of Stella, if desired. Attach feathers to back of wings  Arrange onto card where desired.  Attach to card.
  •  Finish with coordinating colored embellishments.

Curvy Sprigs

Here is another card from the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle, using the Curvy Christmas stamp set with the coordinating Classic Christmas DSP. Love the filigree curve with the Monochromatic look with a touch of color!!

Measurements:

  • Whisper White: 1/2 sheet, scraps
  • Classic Christmas DSP (N): 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" (Stars), 2" x 5 1/2" (sprigs)

  • Stamp 2 "sprigs" in Shaded Spruce (I used the same, longer sprig).  Fussy cut.

Red Bells Slimline Card

This simple, but elegant card uses the Bells from the Sounds of the Season dies. I have to confess, that I only purchases the dies from this bundle. This is a true, but gorgeous "plop and drop"! LOL

Measurements:

  • Whisper White: 7" x 8 1/2" , 3" x 8"
  • Real Red: 3 1/4" x 8 1/4"
To Make this Card:
  • Emboss the Whisper White layer with the Wrapped in Texture embossing folder. Note: You will need to emboss this 2x to do the entire front, but it lines up really nicely.
  • Attach all layers together.
  • Cut the 2 larger "bells" from Red Foil.  Only pass them through your die cutting machine once, so the little "holly's" stay in the die cut. Note: This is too cool. Two of the dies have some really neat detail on them!  If you pass them through once, it stay "embossed", if you pass them through twice, you can poke them out!!
  • Arrange them on the front of your card. Add a red bow.
  • Stamp the sentiment in Real Red ink.  This will stamp over the embossing if you're careful, otherwise stamp it before you emboss it.
  • Finish with a couple Red Rhinestones.

Skiing Bunny

This card utilizes the Freezin' Fun bundle! They are so cute!  Love the animals, love the trees, love the stitched "hillside".  This Fast and Easy card also uses our Foam Adhesive Sheets to pop up the Bunny.  I just love how those sheets make my popped images look.  So different from using Stampin' Dimensionals.  Try it and see for yourself!

Measurements:

  • Coastal Cabana: ½ Sheet
  • Whisper White: 2 3/4" x 4:, scraps

To Make this Card:
  • Run white piece through "hillside" die at an angle.  Attach the "bottom hill" to the folded Coastal Cabana card.
  • Randomly stamp "snowflakes" in Coastal Cabana onto top white "sky" part.  Attach to the top of card.
  • Stamp "bunny" onto scrap of white.  Color with Blends as shown.  Attach this scrap to Foam Adhesive Sheet and cut out with coordinating Die.
  • Stamp, color and cut 1 large and 2 small trees.  Add Wink of Stella to snow, and attach to card, calculating where you would like the Skiing Bunny to go.
  • Finish with message in Black ink, and scattered adhesive snowflakes!
