Popsicle Joy Fold

I was trying to figure out a different way to use some of the DSP in this Bundle and combine it with a fun fold. And I ended up with this card! I love the colors!

Measurements:

Bermuda Bay: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 2 7/8" x 8 1/2", scrap
Ice Cream Corner DSP (N): 2 1/2" x 4"
Whisper White:4" 5 1/4", 3" x 4 1/4", scraps

To Make This Card:

Fold the Bermuda Bay base in half. Trim away 2 3/4". Crease well with Bone Folder. Attach DSP to front flap. Attach Whisper White quarter to inside.
Fold Bermuda Bay strip in half. Crease well with Bone Folder. Cut medium whisper white piece with Stitched Rectangle. Run through Tasteful Textures Embossing Folder. Attach to front of folded Bermuda Bay strip.
Stamp bottom of "popsicle" in Coastal Cabana, then line up and stamp away top. Repeat with Old Olive and Bermuda Bay. Stamp coordinating "dots" in the darkest color. Fussy cut them out.
Stamp "sticks" with Cinnamon Cider. Stamp away for "stick", and full strength for "detail".
Center "popsicle" of your choice onto Rectangle. Tuck the "stick" underneath. Then, add one "popsicle" to either side. Add those sticks, too.
Attach this, smaller card, to inside of card with Tear Tape or Seal+, centering over the inside.
Stamp sentiment in Coastal Cabana onto scrap of Whisper White. Punch out with 3/4" circle punch and mount onto 1" scallop circle punch. Attach to card, with a Dimensional off to the lower left side, so it fits over corner of smaller card.

It's Throwback Thursday time!! I found this pretty Valentine card as I was organizing my completed cards. The Red Foil and DSP are gone, but the gorgeous dies are not. Use the layout and your favorite DSP and foil, and these dies, and you're all set!!

Measurements:

Base: 1/4 sheet
Whisper White: 4" x 11"
All My Love DSP (ret): 3 3/8" x 3 7/8"
Sparkle Shimmer (ret): 2 1/2" square
Red Foil (ret):1 3/4" x 4" (hearts), 2 1/2" square (large heart)
Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet: 1 3/4" x 4"

To Make This Card:

Fold white card. Trim 1 5/8” from bottom of card. Cut stitched scallop trim along bottom, if desired.
Attach DSP to front of card. And card to chosen base.
Cut smooth heart from Sparkle Glimmer Paper.
Attach Multipurpose Adhesive pieces to the back of the foil pieces. Cut out dies from corresponding piece.
Peel off backing from large heart and attach to glitter heart. Attach to card front over DSP.
Carefully peel off backing from hearts. Attach to bottom of card. Use remaining hearts to reinsert into piece and decorate the top… Cool, huh!

Colorful Popsicles

So, I continued to play today with the popsicles in the Ice Cream Corner Bundle! These were a little more of a challenge, as they don't have a die or a punch. Thankfully, they ARE very easy to fussy cut, or you could stamp them directly onto your project. This card is a sample from page 48 in the Mini Catalog! Don't forget to use it for your inspiration!

Measurements:

Old Olive: 1/2 sheet
Pear Pizzazz: scrap
Ice Cream Corner DSP (N): 2" x 5 1/4" dots, 2" x 5 1/4" popsicles
Whisper White: 3" x 5 1/4", scraps

To Make This Card:

Attach DSP to folded Old Olive card.
Cut Largest Stitched Nested Die from Whisper White piece. Set aside.
Stamp bottom of "popsicle" in Coastal Cabana, then line up and stamp away top. Repeat with Bumblebee and Terracotta Tile. Stamp coordinating "dots" in the darkest color. Fussy cut them out.
Stamp "sticks" with Cinnamon Cider. Stamp away for "stick", and full strength for "detail".
Center "popsicle" of your choice onto Label Die. Tuck the "stick" underneath. Then, add one "popsicle" to either side. Add those sticks, too.
Stamp a "drip" in each coordinating color.
Attach Label to card with Dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment in Mossy Meadow onto scrap of Pear Pizzazz. Punch out with 1 3/8" Circle Punch. Attach to card with Dimensionals.
Finish with a bow made from InColor Bumblebee Ribbon.

Sweet Ice Cream Flip Up Card

Today's card uses the new bundle Ice Cream Corner. I have always loved any of our sets with frozen treats, but this one was even cooler, as I WON this set at OnStage in November!! It uses some unique colors and has some fun DSP and accessories!

Measurements:

Bermuda Bay: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", 2 1/2" x 10 1/2"
Ice Cream Corner DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4", scrap (for cone)
Whisper White: 2 pcs 1 1/4" x 5 1/8", scraps

To Make This Card:

Attach DSP to Bermuda Bay base.
Fold long piece of Bermuda Bay in half. Crease well with Bone Folder. Attach one white strip to inside. Attach this entire piece to card base, centering over DSP.
Stamp 4 scoops of ice cream. Each one is stamped in the lighter color with "detail" in the darker color. The Blackberry Bliss is stamped off. Punch each out with the coordinating Punch.
Punch "cone" from Cone DSP.
Stamp sentiment in Pool Party along the side of the other white strip. Arrange the Cone and "scoops" on this white strip as shown.Add some "sprinkles" with Old Olive.
Attach this piece to your card with Seal+ or Tear Tape.
Finish with ribbon wrapped around center flap, tied in a bow.

Bermuda Bay Ombre Always in My Heart

This beautiful bundle can be used for any occasion! This card also uses the FREE Oh So Ombre DSP from Sale-a-Bration. I love the contrast of the Bermuda Bay ombre tones and the black. Enjoy!!

Measurements:

Bermuda Bay: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
Oh, So Ombre DSP: 3 1/4" x 5 1/2", 2 1/2" square (heart)
Basic Black: 4 1/4" x 4 1/2" (detailed heart), 1 1/4" x 5 1/2" {heart border)

To Make This Card

Cut 2 "heart borders" in Basic Black strip. Note: this is a really neat border! Only one side cuts, the other side you can attach wherever and however! Cut one on each side of strip and then cut down the middle. You will be trimming it to fit your card.
Attach the strips to the Ombre DSP. Trim edges even with Paper Snips. Attach to card.
Wrap ribbon around card and tie in a bow.
Cut "detailed heart" from Basic Black. Set center Black heart aside to use on a later project. Attach to card with Multipurpose Glue.
Cut center "heart" from square of solid Ombre DSP. To do this, you will need to just cut out the heart. You will have a little "ruffle" of the detail that you discard..
Stamp the sentiment of your choice in the center. There are several to choose from in this set that will fit nicely in the heart. Adhere to center of "detailed heart"
Finish with new Black Matt Dots and a few Basic Rhinestones.
