Valentine Fluffy Beaver

I had almost forgotten about this darling Beaver holding a stick heart from the Fluffiest Friends Bundle in the Online Exclusive Store. I saw a version of this card, and just had to do it! We made this in my Senior Center Class, and will be doing it here, as well! It's so adorable!!

Measurements:

Pecan Pie: 1/2 sheet, 4" x 5 1/4", scrap
Basic White: 3" x 4 1/4", 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), scrap (beaver)
Sweet Sorbet: scrap
Bee Mine DSP (N): 1" x 4 1/2", 1/2" x 5 1/4" (inside)

To Make This Card:

Run "quarter" piece of Pecan Pie through Tree Rings EF.
Attach to folded Pecan Pie card.
Die cut White piece from Radiating Stitched Dies in the Online Exclusive store. Cut the heart from the same die set from the Sweet Sorbet scrap.
Stamp "stick nest" in Memento Black ink onto scrap of Pecan Pie. Die cut from corresponding die from the Fluffiest Friends bundle.
Stamp "beaver" in Memento Black ink. Color with Blends as shown, and then die cut using corresponding die.
Attach DSP strip to card front as shown.
Stamp sentiment in Pecan Pie ink, near the bottom of the White rectangle.
Attach "nest" above sentiment.
Now, add the "beaver" over the "nest" with Dimensionals.
Next, add White "rectangle" to card front with Dimensionals.
Finish with Sweet Sorbet heart.
Oh, I also added a White layer to the inside, with a 1/2" strip of DSP.

Fluffy Friends Diagonal Cut Fold

I saw a version of this card and thought it would be PERFECT for my class I had last month in Springfield, as it showcased some new products!! They loved it, and I do, too! We'll have to do it in my class, here! It uses a piece of diagonal-cut piece of cardstock, some coordinating birthday-themed stamps from several sets, and highlights a new punch!

Measurements:

Basic Black: full sheet cut in half DIAGONALLY
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (cut diagonally into 2 pieces, you'll need only 1), scraps
Sweet Sorbet (N): 2 1/2" x 8 1/2" strip
Bee Mine Valentine DSP: 4" x 5 1/4" (small hearts), 1/2" x 4" strip

To Make This Card:

Cut full sheet of cardstock in half Diagonally. (this design makes 2 cards).
You can fold by either folding points into place an creasing with a bone folder, or you can place into a paper trimmer or score board and score the lines at 4 1/4" and 5 1/2" and then creasing with bone folder.
Attach White quarter to inside of card, as well as the strip of DSP.
Run White diagonal piece through "cross hatch" embossing folder, from the Basics 3D embossing folder in the Online Exclusive Store. Be aware of which side of the piece you are embossing. Attach to corresponding front.
Next, cut DSP at a diagonal as well. Double check which direction (diagonal) you need to cut this piece so it matches the cut on the card front.
Now, attach DSP to correct diagonal piece. It will have a 1/16" -1/8" border. Note: be aware of any directional patterns! (I try to avoid them).
Now, to decorate!
Stamp 3 "hexagon borders" in Memento black onto strip of Sweet Sorbet cardstock. Punch out with corresponding, (new) punch!
On one, stamp the sentiment from the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set in Memento Black.
For the other two, I stamped the "bunny" from the Fluffiest Friends (Online Exclusive) and "cupcake" from the Circle Sayings in the Annual Catalog.
Color as shown with Blends.
The "bunny" can be die cut, the "cupcake" you will need to fussy cut.
I attached both to a punched image with Dimensionals.
Now,to attach to the card. I attached the first one to the top, so that the top point is even with the fold, and the outside edge even with the other fold. I repeated for the bottom piece with the "cupcake".
The "words" should fit in between! (adjust if necessary)
Open the top flap and lightly make a pencil mark showing the diagonal. This will guide you for the inside sentiment placement.
Open up the other flap, and stamp sentiment in Memento Black. I also added 2 Sweet Sorbet hearts.
Erase the pencil mark with the ink is dry.
Finish with a little Wink of Stella on the images, and 3 Pearl Neutrals Sequins on the sentiment.

Fluffiest Friends Cascading Pleats Card

I just LOVE this fold! Stay tuned to more ideas! This one uses our new, darling Fluffy Friends Bundle in the Online Exclusives Store for a birthday card, using the sentiments from the Zany Zoo Bundle. It could also be a darling Baby Card, too!

Measurements:

Thick Basic White: 4 1/4" x 9 1/2" (base), 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" (middle base), 2 3/4" x 4" (front base); 4" x 5 1/4" (base layer), 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" (middle layer), 2 1/2" square (sentiments), 7/8" x 3 1/2" (inside sentiment)
Basic White: scraps
Bright & Beautiful: 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"
Soft Shimmer: scraps (Bubble Bath)

To Make This Card:

TakeWhite Base and score along long side at 5 1/2" - 6 1/2" - 7 1/2" - 8 1/2".
Next, turn this piece and score 3/4" from top for 3", and then move down to 1 1/2" and score for only 1". These score lines will intersect with 2 of the other score lines, and will be our guides for cutting the cascades.
Now, take your paper snips. Cut along the 1 1/2" score mark to the 1" intersection. Then cut diagonally to the next scored section, then cut straight to the 3" line and diagonally to the main, center fold. Looks kind of weird, doesn't it.
Next make accordion fold with those 3 areas! There's your base!
To create the rest of the base, Place Tear n Tape on middle section and add middle base. Place Tear n Tape on the front section, and add the front "base". Now the main part of your card is done! Now it's time to decorate!
First, attached the DSP to the middle layer.
Then, dry emboss the front and back layers with the "cross hatched" embossing folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders in the Online Exclusive Store.
Attach these pieces to the front and back panels.
Now, to add the "details".
Stamp the little bunny from the Fluffy Friends in Momento Black. Outline him in Smokey Slate Blends, add a little color to his ears and feet with Bubble Bath blends, and other details as desired. Die cut with corresponding die.
At the same time, stamp and color the little "bird" from the Fluffy Friends set. Aslo, die cut with corresponding die. Set aside.
Next stamp 3 sentiments from Zany Zoo in Momento black onto scraps of White. Die cut the long one with the Banner Die, and the other 2 with Stitched Circle dies, all from the Stylish Shapes dies.
Now, die cut one each of the 2 balloons from the Bubble Bath Soft Shimmer ...and grab your Gray Granite Bakers Twine from the Essentials Bakers Twine pack.
Next, add the "bunny" to the front panel, tucking one circle/sentiment behind one ear.
For the middle panel, attach a piece of Bakers Twine behind one balloon. Attach balloon to card, add a rolled glue dot to the Twine that will be behind the "banner", then, add the "banner" with Dimensionals.
Now, go to the back panel. Add the little bird to the panel. Tuck one of the circles behind the little birds' head as well.
Again, attach a piece of Twine to the balloon. Adhere to back of card where desired. Run Twine down through the birdie's beak (attach with a ball of Mini Glue Dot) and let extend below.
I finished with a Silver trimmed knot, colored with Bubble Bath Blend, and a few scattered Silver Sparkle Gems.
