Simple Stamped Eden's Garden

Here is a simple stamped card that is embellished with a little bling.  I had never tried shredding our gold ribbon.  I like how it adds to the card!  Give it a try!

Measurements:  

• Evening Evergreen: 1/2 sheet
• Ever Eden DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
• Basic White: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4", 4" x 5 1/4" (inside)

To Make This Card:

• Fold Soft Succulent card base in half and attach DSP.
• Cut largest scallop rectangle from the Scallop Contour Dies.
• Randomly stamp large "floral sprig" and then small "sprig" in Soft Succulent. Attach this piece to card with Dimensionals.
• Stamp sentiment in Evening Evergreen.  Fussy cut around this and attach to card.
• Tie a knot from the gold ribbon.  Leave ends long enough for you to "strip".  Attach to card.
• Tie a double bow from Open Weave ribbon and attach close to Gold knoot.
• Finish with scattered Gilded Gems.

Simply Elegant Eden's Garden

Here is another card with a solid insert. It uses the Eden "label" die as well as the gorgeous Garden Gems!  And, inside is a border of the so soft Cotton paper!  It is so delicate.  I have cut it from the larger wreath dies to layer together.  So, pretty!

Measurements:  

• Soft Succulent: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 1/4 sheet
• Ever Eden DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
• Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), 1/4 sheet (insert), 1 1/2" x 4 1/4"
• Gold Foil: 1 1/2" x 4 1/4"
• Ever Eden Cotton Paper (N): 1" x 6"

To Make This Card:

• Fold Soft Succulent card base in half and attach DSP.
• Cut large "wreath" from quarter sheet of Soft Succulent. Discard center scrap. Attach to card front. 
• Cut large "wreath", or at the very least the center of the large "wreath" from Basic White. You only need the center from this. Save the other "wreath" for another project! 
• Stamp "floral sprig" in Soft Succulent in upper part of this piece. Now place adhesive to the back, and insert it in the center of the Soft Succulent "wreath".
• Cut out 1 "label" from Basic White and 1 "label" from Gold Foil.
• Stamp sentiment in center of White "label" in Soft Succulent. 
• Stagger the White and Gold "labels" and attach to card.
• Add Soft Succulent Open Weave bow.
• Finish outside with new Garden Gems and a Opal Rounds.
• Attach White piece to inside.  Cut "border" from Soft Succulent Cotton Paper, and add to lower edge of inside.

Eden's Garden Latch Fold

This is one of the cards that Mom and I created yesterday on our marathon card making afternoon with Eden's Garden!  I just LOVE this entire suite!!  So, hang on to your stamp pads, we are going to flood my blog with some awesome ideas! This one uses the darker, Evening Evergreen & Gold DSP in a new fold to me - a Latch Fold!  I can't believe that after 30 years, I am still learning something new!! 

Measurements:  

• Evening Evergreen: 1/2 sheet, 3 1/4" x 3 1/2"
• Ever Eden DSP (N): 1 5/8" x 5", 2 1/4" x 2 7/8", 1" x 6"
• Very Vanilla: 4" x 5 1/4", 2 3/4" x 2"
• Gold Foil:1 7/8" x 5 1/4", 2 1/2" x 3 1/8", 2 3/4" x 2"

To Make This Card:

• Fold Evening Evergreen card in half. Remove 2 1/8" from front of card.  Discard this piece.
• Attach corresponding Gold Foil and DSP to flap.
• Score along the 3 1/2" side of other piece at 3/4"  Crease well. Attach corresponding pieces to the larger side.
• Place Tear & Tape on under side of 3/4" extension.  Attach to Vanilla inside layer where desired.  (Note: I place mine a little lower, but centering is ok, too.)
• Now, adhere this piece to the inside of card.
• Emboss sentiment onto piece of Vanilla in Gold Embossing.  Cut out with Label die from the Pierced Blooms Dies.  Also cut out a "label" from Gold Foil.
• Split the Gold "label" in half lengthwise, and attach Vanilla sentiment to these pieces creating a gold edge.
• Fold the right flap over the left.  Add Dimensionals to the far left of the "label" and add to card, so the right flap is tucked under the "label".
• Now, take the strip of DSP, and cut the "border" from the Eden Dies.  This is so gorgeous!  Attach to inside of card on the left side.
• Finish with Gilded Gems as shown.

Elegant Encircled in Warmth

I had so much fun using the Encircled in Beauty dies, that I wanted to play some more!!  This combines the beautiful Simply Elegantly DSP with those gorgeous "doily" dies.  There are SO MANY combinations!! You just need these dies!!  Cut them out and start playing!! This photo doesn't do this card justice!

Measurements:  

• Cherry Cobbler: 1/2 sheet, 4" square (doily), 2 1/4" square (sentiment)
• Simply Elegant: 4" x 5 1/4"
• Gold Foil:3 1/4" square
• Very Vanilla: 4" x 5 1/4" (inside)

To Make This Card 

• TInt the white background of the DSP piece with Cherry Cobbler ink and a Blending Brush. Once you have reached your desired color, take a tissue and buff ink off the foil image!
• Attach this piece to folded Cherry Cobbler card.
• Cut larger "doily" from Cherry Cobbler square.  You will need to add the outside cutting edge to have a complete doily.
• Attach the CENTER of this "doily" to the front of card.
• Cut the next size "doily" from Gold Foil. To tamp down the bright gold a bit, add some Cherry Cobbler ink to this piece, too, with Blending Brush.  Let dry a minute, and butff this with a tissue as well.  Then, add the CENTER of this "doily" over the other "doily".
• Stamp and emboss sentiment from the Encircled in Warmth stamp set. (designed to add further value to your dies!)
• Cut out with corresponding circle die. (Or, use the circle that was removed from the large "doily".  I thought this was a little big..)
• Add this sentiment to center of "doilies" with Dimensional.
• Finish with a bow of new Cherry Cobbler and Gold Ribbon.
