Slimline Tri-Fold
I LOVE these Slimline cards!! You can do just about anything with them that you can a standard card. Try this "twist" of a Slimline - a Tri-Fold card. It's really simple, and quite elegant! Once I made this one that I saw, I thought of several others!! So, stay tuned!!
Measurements:
- Real Red: 8 1/2" square, 1 3/4" x 4 3/4", 2 1/2' X 7 3/4"
- Very Vanilla: 2 3/8" x 4 1/4" , 2 3/8" x 7 1/2"
- Poinsettia Place DSP (N): 2 pcs 3 1/4" x 8 1/4", 1 1/2" x 8 1/4"
- Brushed Metallics (N): 2" x 3"
- Vellum: 2" x 3"
To Make this Card:
- Score card at 3 3/8", 6 7/8". Crease well.
- Attach DSP to corresponding flaps; inside and then 2 outside pieces. Mount to longer pieces to inside, stamp desired message in Soft Suede.
- Cut Stitched Nested die from Real Red, then smaller one from Very Vanilla. Stamp greeting in Soft Suede onto Vanilla piece and then layer together.
- Mount half of "label" to front of card as shown. Attach 2 "sprigs" of Tarnished Copper and 2 "sprigs" of vellum to front of card.
- Finish with a red bow. Note: To help keep this closed, I like to finish these with a small velcro dot that I get at the Fabric Store!

Curvy Celebrations PREVIEW!
At my downline meeting yesterday, we made this gorgeous fall card using the soon-to-be released Curvy Celebrations bundle! Demonstrators could pre-order it this month, and customers will be able to order it in November and December! This bundle appearing in our next mini catalog!! There is also a neat Christmas set, only available in November and December. So, stay tuned. More info coming!
Measurements:
- Whisper White: 1/2 sheet, 3 3/4" x 5", 2” x 5 ½” strip
- Plaid Tidings DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
To Make this Card:
- Mount plaid to folded Vanilla card.
- Cut bottom curve at desired angle on White layer. Note: There is only one cut edge to this die. Make sure that the cut edge is “up”. Then, take the piece you just removed, and decide where you want the cut edge, use the die to mark the edge with a pencil and cut. Trim straight edge to fit card.
- Stamp “leaves” with Memento ink. Cut out with coordinating die. Color with a “rainbow” of fall colors that coordinate with your plaid. I used Lt & Dk So Saffron, Lt & Dk Mango Melody, Dk Pumpkin Pie, Dk Calypso Coral, Dk Rich Razzleberry, Dk Blackberry Bliss, Lt & Dk Cinnamon Cider.
- Stamp 3 birds. Cut out with coordinating dies. Color to coordinate with your plaid and leaves.
- Lay out 2 cut curves and leave border. Arrange as desired, and then adhere to card.
- Add birds where desired
- Finish with message and knot of ribbon.

Altered Flip Flap Poinsettia Card
Here is a gorgeous card I found online. It's a very fun and interesting fold, which makes awesome use of the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper! And, did you see the EMBOSSED Velvet paper....too cool! You MUST give this one a try!!
Measurements:
- Whisper White: 1/2 sheet, 3" strip (for poinsettia), 2 7/8" x 4 1/2", 7/8" x 3 3/8"
- Real Red: 4" x 5 1/4"
- Red Velvet (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
- Silver Foil: 1" x 3 5/8"
- Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper (N): 3 3/8" x 8 3/8", scraps
To Make this Card:
- Run the Red Velvet paper through the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder. Attach to folded White card.
- Attach Real Red piece to inside of card.
- Score the strip of Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper at 3 1/2". Crease well with Bone Folder.
- Attach the wrong side of the Plush piece to the Real Red piece inside the card, matching the crease in the "vellum" to the top edge of the Whisper White card. Close card, and fold 3 1/2" flap over the top.
- Cut out the "Poinsettia" from Whisper White. Shape with Bone Folder and assemble with Mini Dimensionals. Attach to Plush "flap" with a Dimensional. Add beaded pearl to center.
- Cut 3 "leaves" from Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper. "Color" from behind with Lt Just Jade Blend to add color. (or, I found out later, try the Just Jade ink and a dauber). Attach to flap under "poinsettia".
- Stamp greeting in Real Red ink onto strip of Whisper White, attach to Silver strip and attach to card with Dimensionals.
- Finish inside by stamping message in Real Red and adhering to inside of card over Plush Vellum.

Golden Gift
I got the Gift Wrapped bundle because I thought it would be great for gift cards for Christmas! Well, how about birthdays, and "gift" cards!! Saw one similer to this that I fell in love with. I used our rich red velvet paper on mine. And, I discovered you CAN stamp on the velvet paper! So cool!! This is a fast, fun, elegant card. Think of the possibilities! Mom and I call these a "plop and drop" card. (I think Stampin' Up! calls them Simple Stamping!) Enjoy!
Measurements:
- Real Red: 1/2 sheet
- Gold Foil: 4" x 5 1/4"
- Red Velvet (N): 1/2" x 9 1/4" strip, 2 1/2" square
To Make this Card:
- Run the Gold Foil through the Winter Snow Embossing Folder. Set aside.
- Stamp the "bow" onto the small square of Velvet (I prefer to use a strip - it's easier to hang on to), and punch out the "bow".
- Cut the Red Velvet strip into 2 pieces - 4" and 5 1/4". Attach to Gold Foil layer. Then, wrap ribbon over and tape to the back. Now, you can attach the Gold Foil layer to the folded Red Card.
- Leave your card as is or I attached a small word, cut from the Velvet Paper. You have many choices with the Well Written Dies.

Glittery Poinsettia
Here is another Poinsettia card! Love, love, love this bundle! This one is also a Fun Fold!
Measurements:
- Thick Very Vanilla: 4 1/4" x 9 1/4"
- Very Vanilla: 2 5/8" x 3 1/2"
- Pretty Peacock: 2 7/8" x 3 3/4" 3 1/2" strip
- Brightly Gleaming DSP (N): 2 pcs - 1 3/4" x 4"
- Brushed Metallic Cardstock (N): 1 1/2" strip "tarnished copper"
- Copper Foil: 1 1/2" strip
To Make this Card:
- Score Vanilla base at 1 7/8” from each end. Attach DSP strips. ·
- Cut 3 “Poinsettia Petals” from Pretty Peacock. Paint them with Wink of Stella and set aside to dry
- Cut large Stitched Oval from Vanilla. Attach to Large Peacock Scalloped Oval.·
- Cut 2 large and 1 small “leaf” from Copper, and one flower center. Cut 2 “sprigs” from Brushed Metallic.·
- Assemble “Poinsettia” together with Dimensionals. Attach to Ovals with Dimensional.·
- Arrange petals and sprigs under flower where desired. Add flower center with Mini glue Dots. ·
- Finish with pearls in center and stamped message in opening.
