Autumn Welcoming Woods

I recently saw a card using this awesome stamp set, Welcoming Trees, stamped on the FREE, SAB DSP, Peaceful Prints. I thought that was a unique idea, so I decided to try one myself! In addition to stamping directly onto the "birch" paper, I also made an "ink pad" with baby wipes for the "fall leaves". I really like how it turned out!

Measurements:

Pumpkin Pie: 1/2 sheet, 1 1/4" x 2 1/2"
Basic White: 1 1/4" x 2 1/2"
Cajun Craze: 4" x 5 1/4"
Peaceful Prints DSP (SAB): 3 3/4" x 5"

To Make This Card:

Fold Pumpkin Pie card in half, and attach Cajun Craze layer.
Stamp "trees" in Sahara Sand ink directly onto DSP.
Create your own multicolor ink pad, but adding drops of fall reinker colors onto a folded baby wipe. Smoosh the colors together a little and ink up "leaves". Add more reinker color, if necessary. I used Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, and Cinnamon Cider.
Attach DSP to card.
Stamp sentiment in Cajun Craze and die cut with smallest stitched rectangle. Mount onto Pumpkin Pie layer. Add to card as shown.
Finish with bow in Cajun Craze bakers twine (ret) and scattered Artistry Blooms Sequins.

Black & White Nature's Harvest

I saw these coneflowers done in just Black & White!! So clean and simple! (something I don't do very often) But, I love it!! You need to give this one a try!

Measurements:

Basic Black: 1/4 sheet, 3 7/8" x 4 1/8"
Basic White: 4" x 8 1/8", 4" x 5 1/4"
Party Patterns (H): 3" x 4"

To Make This Card:

Fold Basic White card in half, and attach to Basic Black base.
Attach DSP to card.
Stamp sentiment onto lower right card in Black.
Stamp flowers onto White piece. Cut out with Stitched Rectangle. Attach to Black cut rectangle. Mount onto card with Dimensionals.
Finish with double bow of Black & White gingham.

Pretty Pumpkins Pop Up Flip

While I was playing with Fun Folds, I found one I hadn't done in a while that I thought would be PERFECT for a Pop Up Flip card! I used my latest fav DSP, Harvest Meadow DSP for the background and embossed my fav stamp in that set in gold! I love how it turned out!

Measurements:

Calypso Coral: 1/2 sheet, 3" x 4" (mechanism), 3/4" x 2 1/4" (mechanism), 2 1/2" square
Petal Pink: 4" x 5 1/4", 2 3/4" square (scalloped circle)
Harvest Meadow DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4"

To Make This Card:

Attach DSP piece to folded Calypso Coral card, around the outside edges only.
Cut circle from front of card. Keep the Calypso Coral layer and toss the DSP.
Attach Petal Pink quarter to inside.
Score the 3" x 4" Calypso Coral piece at 1", 2", 3". Crease well. Fold this piece in half. Add Tear & Tape to one outside 1" area, one of the ends. Flip this over and adhere to inside of card, with cut edge along fold of card. "Eyeball" this so it is centered behind the circle opening.
Keeping this piece folded in half, add Tear & Tape to the other "end" and close the card! Voila the first mechanism/pop up!
Now, take the 3/4" strip and score at 1 1/4". Hold in half and crease well. Flip over so the longer side is up, and place Tear & Tape on this area. Close your card, and place this mechanism so the adhesive side is down, short side is up, and cut edge is against the circle. Press down.
Now place some adhesive on the shorter side. Close card, and place Calypso Coral piece cut out earlier in the openingpening and attach to the flap with the adhesive on it. Check to see that it works!! Isn't it fun!!
Cut medium scallop circle from Petal Pink, add to circle
Emboss the "detailed" pumpkin in Gold embossing powder. Cut out with corresponding die and attach to circles with Dimensionals.
On inside, stamp and emboss sentiment and a grapevine.
Finish with Champagne Rhinestones and a Petal Pink bow.

Nature's Harvest Vertical Book Binder

I saw a similar version of the Book Binder card using the Nature's Harvest, but orienting it vertically!! Love these fall colors. I also used our new Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, and highlighted it with our Blending Brushes.

Measurements:

Cajun Craze: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
Basic White: 2 pcs @ 4" x 4", 2 3/4" x 4"
Old Olive: 2" x 4 3/4"
Beauty of the Earth: 1 1/8" x 4"

To Make This Card:

Fold Cajun Craze card base in half. Score at 1 1/4" from fold, front side only. Crease the front back well. Place adhesive under this 1 1/4" and glue front and back together.
Attach DSP strip to this TOP side.
Run one 4" x 4" White square through the Embossing Folder. Highlight with Cajun Craze and a Blending Brush. Attach to front of card.
Stamp "coneflowers" in Memento Black. Color with Blends as shown. Cut out with corresponding die.
Cut "cattails" from Old Olive cardstock. Adhere these to the card as shown. You willl probably need to trim the stems to fit.
Then, attach the "flowers" to the card with dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment in Cajun Craze. Cut out with long, label die in the Harvest Dies. Attach to top DSP.
Finish with scattered gold Metallic Pearls.
