Simple Trees

 Can you tell? I just LOVE this Whimsy & Wonder DSP!!  You just HAVE to get it!!  The paper really just stands alone, it's so gorgeous. This simple card uses the "trees" as a layer.  There are lovely Holographic accents on this sheet, too.  I mounted it on 2 lovely greens along with silver trees!! This picture just doesn't do this justice!

Measurements:    

• Soft Succulent: 1/2 sheet
• Mint Macaron: 4" x 5 1/4"
• Whimsy & Wonder DSP (N): 3 3/4" x 5"
• Silver Foil (N): 2" strip

To Make This Card:

• Fold Soft Succulent card in half. Attach Mint Macaron and DSP.
• Cut 2 "trees" from Silver Foil.  Carefully leave details in one of the trees, or save them and reattach them when you add it to the card.  For the other tree, remove the detail.
• Attach the "open" tree first, then I taped the detail pieces to the back and popped it up with Dimensionals.
• Finish with a Mint Macaron bow.  It honestly doesn't need anything else!!

Simple Snowflake

 So, Christmas and the Winter Season is upon us!  Time to start creating!  And, creating Mom and I did, yesterday!!  The Whimsy & Wonder DSP with it's holographic accents is just stunning!  We are haing trouble keeping it in stock!!  This simple card is just gorgeous!  Time to get started on your holiday cards!!

Measurements:    

• Basic White: 1/2 sheet, 2 7/8" square, 1 1/8" x 3 3/4" 
• Blushing Bride:2 5/8" square
• Whimsy & Wonder DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4"

To Make This Card:

• Fold Basic White card in half, and attach DSP layer.
• Run Blushing Bride piece through Snowflake EF from the Wintry 3D embossing folders from the Annual Catalog. Attach to White Square, then attach to card, on point with Dimensionals.
• Attach one Wonderful Snowflake die cut to center of square with Dimensional.
• Emboss sentiment from Snowflake Wishes in silver embossing powder.  Cut out with center rectangle from Picture This dies.
• Attach to card with Dimensionals.
• Finish with Opal Rounds embellishments.

Simple Blushing Bride Trees

I didn't originally get this DSP as the colors are rather non-tradtional holiday colors.  But I LOVE them!! I actually don't mind Blushing Bride trees!!  And the Hologram accents...gorgeous! So here is another simple card using the stunning DSP and dies! Once again, the picture doesn't do this justice!

Measurements:    

• Blushing Bride: 1/2 sheet
• Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", 2 3/8" x 5 3/8", 2 3/4" x 4" (label), scraps (tree/sentiment)
• Whimsy & Wonder DSP (N): 2 1/8" x 5 1/8" (snowflake), 1 1/2" x 5 1/8" (stripe)

To Make This Card:

• Fold Blushing Bride card in half. Cut away 1 3/4" from front of card.  Toss this piece.
• Attach quarter sheet of White to the inside of card.  Add Stripe DSP to right side.
• Attach White piece to front flap. Then, add Snowflake DSP.
• Cut scalloped rectangle from Scalloped Contour Dies.
• Cut large, detailed tree from Blushing Bride cardstock. Attach, flat, to rectangle at far left.
• Stamp smaller tree in Blushing Bride on a scrap of white. Attach over pink tree with Dimensionals.
• Stamp "joy" in Blushing Bride.  Fussy cut around the word.  Lay a strip of Blushing Bride ribbon as shown.  Attach sentiment with Dimensional.
• Now, attach half of rectangle to front flap.
• Finish with Rhinestones as shown.
• As an added note, I also cut 2 "small tall trees" from scraps of the pearlized snowflake paper and added them to the inside!!  Don't forget to use these awesome scraps!

Pretty Pumpkin Mounted Gate Fold Card

Still in fall "mode"?  Here is a fall sample of a Mounted Gate Fold Card using the awesome Pretty Pumpkins bundle, paired with my favorite Expressions in Ink DSP! I shared this one on my YouTube video yesterday!

Frosted Gingerbread Mounted Double Gate Fold & Video

I saw this card over on Julie Davison's Thursday Night Therapy. It didn't have a name, so I am calling it a Mounted Double Gate Fold.  It is a version of a Double Gate Fold, but mounted on another support piece. Love the Frosted Gingerbread Bundle!  So many possiblities. So, stay tuned!!

Measurements:    

• Old Olive: 4 1/4" x 11" (1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE), 1/4 piece
• Gingerbread & Peppermin DSP: 2 pcs @ 7/8" x 4", 2 pcs @ 1 3/4" x 4"
• Basic White: 3 1/4" x 4" (inside), 2 3/4" square (front), scraps (ornaments)
• Real Red: 3" square

To Make this Card:

• Score long sheet at 2" - 3 3/4" - 7 1/4" - 9". Crease well with Bone Folder creating a Double Gate Fold.
• Mount 2 narrow DSP pieces on either side of 1/4 piece.
• Place Tear Tape onto back of Double Gate Fold piece.  Attach to base between DSP pieces.
• Add White piece to the inside.
• Attach DSP pieces to outside.
• Stamp images of your choice in Real Red and Old Olive.  Cut out with corresponding dies.  Attach one flush, and the other with Dimensionals.
• Stamp sentiment in Real Red.  Cut around in narrow rectangle.
• Stamp sentiment inside in Real Red.
• Stamp "peppermints" in Real Red and Old Olive.  Cut out with corresponding die and add a few to inside of card.
• Finish with scattered Wonderful Gems
